Getting Milia treated by a dermatologists

OK so i had a facial about 2 weeks ago and what i thought where white heads turn out to be Milia. I have done my research and decided to go to a dermatologists but i just wanted to hear from real people who had there Milia treated by a dermatologists. I just wanna know is it painful? does it leave your face red, swollen blood spots or scarring? and also is it expensive? thanks alot

I didn't know that dermatologists will take care of milla for you? What do they use to remove then?

yess they take off the milia that is on your face now and then they tell you what the cause was. I dont know what exactly they use but i know they do it because i have an appointment in a few weeks here and wanted to see what the procedure is like

Just an FYI...my friend went to have some milia treated by her derm and after they biopsied it they said it was "syringoma."

I saw hers in person, and would have bet my annual salary that it was milia...you can't assume anything, and it is best to be seen by a professional.
