I take probiotics daily, and I also take oregano oil. I've realized that I may be killing the good bacteria with the oregano oil. What do you guys think?

I've noticed that the probiotics don't seem to be working as well as they did when I first started taking them, but I've also started taking digestive enzymes, a new multi-vitamin, and DIM, so they may have something to do with it. Hmm, I dunno.

Are you taking the o of o daily? You might be experiencing the Herxheimer reaction to it, but I"m not sure what you mean when you say the probiotics don't seem to be working as well as they once did....can you be more specific?

Coconut - Are you taking your probiotics at night and your OoO in the AM or around noon? To make sure you're not killing the good bacteria along with the bad, you've got to space these two products away from each other.

And exactly why did you start taking OoO to begin with...candida? I have a systemic candida infection, and it didn't do a darn thing for mine.

I have all sorts of digestive issues and I find the oregano to be cleansing and aids in reducing yeast. When I first taking the probiotics I found that I was a lot more regular and I experienced no bloating after meals, like I usually do. Also, I found that the probiotics eliminated morning breath...and I'm seem to not be seeing these effects any longer.

Then I would go with ScotLas's recommendation to take them at separate times.

Can I ask what concentration of OoO you are taking, and are you doing the drops under your tongue?

When my HB gets stomach problems I make him a cup of oregano tea. Works everytime for him. He said the OoO does absolutely nothing for him.

hi there. I'm using apprx 80% carvacrol OoO that I bought from garden of wisdom. I do 5 drops underneath my tongue at night. Honestly, this stuff from garden of wisdom is the most potent OoO I've used, I almost feel like I need to dilute it.

I buy the straight OoO and dilute it with olive oil...it's potent stuff, isn't it?
