My niece has acne on her forehead and has become very self conscious about it. Any products that are not too harsh but will help to diminish it? Thanks |

Salicylic acid is the best for acne - one of the cheapest solutions is the Stridex 2% salicylic acid pads at any drugstore.
If she has bangs, she might also want to try and keep them off her forehead whenever possible (like after school, etc.).
And if that doesn't work, you might want to look at the Proactiv or Neutrogena acne kits (modeled after Proactiv)....I used Proactiv, and it was the only thing that worked on my acne.
And you sound like a wonderful aunt to be looking out for her. Acne can definitely impact her self-esteem. |

2 great gentle products for acne are the best bath store acne gel and juice beauty blemish clearing serum. Both are gentle but work differently. The bbs gel has manuka honey, the juice beauty serum has salicylic acid. If you can only get one product, I think the best bath store acne gel is the better product overall. It's not at all irritating so it can be used all the time and it's a great value- it's just 20$ for a 4 oz bottle. HTH! |

I just had a discussion with my niece about her skin. She's 13 and having pretty bad breakouts on her forehead and back. I sent her some supplements that seemed safe for a growing girl to try to mayb try to help get her balanced internally. Not sure if they'll work but thought it was worth a try:
- Vitamin C
- Zinc
- B Complex
- Grapefruit Seed Extract
- Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics
She's already taking EFA's. |
