It appears to be VERY weak...you have to hold it over each area for 20 MINUTES. No, I am not kidding.
Please do not waste your money!
Most of the others (ProLight, AALA, etc.) have good return policies, even though they are online sales...you do have to pay for shipping, but you usually avoid local sales tax which makes up for it.
ProLight offers free shipping (to you) for EDS members, and AALS often has free shipping promotions. |

kikilarue,
The demo units when available are priced @ $498 or the platinum is priced considerably less @ $325. The difference is the treatment time and the platinum contains red and amber leds...happy shopping:-) |

Kiki as Batwhirl mentioned, there are 2 types of ProLight products:
- Platinum ($325) which contains multiple wavelengths (60 secs per treatment area)
- Professional (demo models are $500) which comes in several color options (30 secs per treatment area)
- Rita at ProLight can recommend which light is best for YOUR skin needs if you contact her.
The AALS (2-3 mins per treatment areas) has multiple wavelengths like the ProLight Platinum. They will not share how strong the light is in industry standard terms, so I personally would not buy this. But some people have and have been very happy with the product.
The Quasars seem to have questionable "amberish" wavelengths and have proven to be far weaker than all of the Prolight models - I would personally not buy one, though others have been very happy with them.
The Perricone light is indeed 20 mins per AREA...not the whole face. Several of us wrote to them and confirmed this with the Perricone company.
I would really suggest that you read the "how to choose a LED thread" (link below)...it mentions every light listed above, and I am 99% sure that all of your questions will be answered in that thread.
