I'm a big fan of the Avene retinaldehyde products, but I wouldn't recommend this one simply because the percentage of retinaldehyde is so low. I'd use regular Ystheal in the eye region, perhaps buffering it with a bit of moisturizer at first. I've had no problems with full strength Ystheal in the eye area personally. |

I second what Flitcraft has said - Ystheal Eye cream contains only 0,25% retinaldehyde (or 0,15%, can`t remember), this is too low to be effective.
I used Avene Ystheal emulsion around the eyes, and now am using Avene Eluage without any problems. I`ve never buffered them with a moisturizer and never had any irritation or peeling.
Eluage contains hyaluronic acid as well as retinaldehyde, which can be useful in the anti-aging battle ![Cool](images/smiles/cool.gif) |
