Hello I'm 36 and I have a section of skin on both eyelids that sort of folds over and feels heavy on my eyes. It seems to be worst in the morning so I've been using tea bags on my eyes and that seems to reduce some of that puffiness and sagging, but I was wondering if any of you know of a product that I can apply before bed that will help?

I've been using True Radiance eye cream and find it really helps the puffiness and sagging of my eyelids. Here is the link to the thread. I have pics posted on page 3.

It sounds like you have some fluid retention, and your best bet is to figure out WHY you have it.

It is often caused due to sodium intake that is too high (too much Diet Coke does that to me), allergies, etc. Try to eliminate the cause, instead of just treating the symptom of puffiness.

You might also want to look at some facial exercises to help lift that area...many women on EDS swear by Flex Effect.

Wow Diana that looks really great. The before picture looks kind of like what I have. That's not a bad price either.

Good point Bethany, I should see if cutting back on sodium will help. I do drink lots of Diet Soda, sigh, I love it, lol. Well I've just started taking generic Claritin (sp?) daily so I hppe that helps. I've been rubbing my eyes for years because of allergies. I'll look into the exercises as well.

This board is really great! Very Happy

You could try using a DermaWand - I have one and I think it's very good for reducing eye puffiness and lifting the eyelid skin. You'll find quite allot of information on this Forum about it, so just do a search or Google it.

However, I used to have very droopy upper eyelids, they came over my eyelashes and obscured my vision so I ended up getting an upper and lower bleph. I am very happy with the results. Before you resort to surgery though, try the DermaWand.
