I bought the 1m 3 line roller.
I rolled 2 nights in a row. A bit of redness and a big of blood the 2nd night. Not a big deal though and my Tazorac really sank into my skin fast! I was impressed. I applied Taz after I rolled.
There is a long rolling thread here, but I wanted to ask some quick questions if you all don't mind.
When you all say you roll 6 times, does that mean 6 days in a row? How often should I roll?
Many Thanks. |

Duchy the 6 rolls are either every week up to every 6 weeks apart, not every day. Even the tiny .15 rollers for product penetration shouldn't be used every day. How has your skin reacted after 2 days in a row? You should read some of Bethany's links to dermarolling articles and presentations in the home tools section. Page 2 now I think. |

Thanks Mishey. I have read the long thread. But sometimes It all gets confusing
So the 6 rolls means just rolling once a week for six weeks and then six weeks off? Or rolling once a day for 6 days?
My skin is fine. A bit red, but not bad at all. I'm trying to get more of a peel from Taz and tretinoin gel. I've even layered the two before and not much happens. I do have some peeling, but not as much as I'd like.
And I rolled my nose where I had some small blackheads and those are totally gone now. |

There are great articles in this thread put together by Bethany. You really should read the articles.
For myself, when I say I rolled 6 times, I meant I rolled one time a week for 6 weeks straight, and then took some time off. HTH! |

I personally prefer to roll no more frequently than every 2 weeks, and generally just roll once every 4-6 weeks.
It really comes down to what your skin problems are and what you are trying to accomplish.
And dermarolling isn't really for young people, unless they are trying to get rid of deeper acne scarring.
PLEASE read the articles and at least the last 10 pages of the dermarolling thread...there is a LOT more to this that just poking yourself with needles. Just ask ChinaChatters, who ended up with severely dehydrated skin and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from rolling too frequently. |

Does this mean that you are just rolling little areas? Or are you actually rolling your whole face with the 3Line? |

I rolled weekly at first, but then went down to every 2 weeks. I can understand why it's so confusing, with 77 pages on the dermaroller. Bethany's right, read the last 10 to 20 pages and also the links on the articles. That should help you alot. |

Rolling little areas. Such as melasma points and a wrinkle on my forehead. I'm 33 years old.
I've been reading this forum for about a year and the rolling threads as well, I just haven't posted. I'm an MUA member, but a lot of ladies on that board don't seem to rec. the rolling. I will re-read this link. Thanks!
This past week I took the plunge and finally bought one. |
