I got a sample from Sephora and had it in my cabinet forever and forgot about it. I was washing my hair after a couple of days of having my sulphur treatment in and decided to use it. I didn't even have ttime to leave it in the recommended 20 minutes, really just a couple. But OMG! My hair felt so soft. I have NEVER had it feel this way. Just think if I had left it in longer... It is really gritty and deos not feel like it would condition your hair but it is wonderful.
Going to get more of this TODAY.

Sorry I looked and saw that it had been reviewed before. But it really did make my hair like silk . But I also am using my own homemade hair oil for grwoth and that has some ingredients meant to soften hair. My hair is soft when I use it, really soft but not as SILKY as when I added Ojon. so maybe the combo of the two is what is working so well. I can finally wear my hair naturally wavy b/c I had to goop it up , blow dry and straighten to get the soft feel before. |

I know I want to try this Ojon so bad.. I really should go out and pick up a thing of it. Its like the one conditioner that really seems to be emerging with a lot of positive glowing reviews. Its the new "it" conditioner. I really think EDS should carry it... do you know if EDS carries any hair stuff? I've looked but never seen any... its strictly skin care right? |

What hair type do you have? I tried this on my thick, coarse, long hair and it didn't seem to do anything. And it smelled like peanuts. |

I love OJON!! This is the ONLY product I use the entire line of. I have baby fine hair, but lots of it, super straight. I also have my hair high & low lighted, wash & blow dry it daily. My stylist commented how healthy my hair is.
I love the scent of the Ultra Hydrating shampoo & conditioner. The restorative treatment scent reminds me of tropical vacations, so I really enjoy it! |

I have thick, wavy hair. I had a sample from Sephora and it is really amazing though. After rinsing it off, my hair was soft. I've colored my hair alot so it made a difference. |

Not sure if anyone is interested but I found this.
What is Ojon™?
Hidden for centuries in the remote tropical rainforest of Central America, Ojon™ captures a unique beauty secret that has been known only to the ancient Indian tribes who inhabit the region...until now. Ojon™ Restorative Hair Treatment contains 100% pure Ojon™ oil - the same rare oil the Miskito Indians have been using for over 500 years. In their native language, they are referred to as the Tawira which translates to "the people of beautiful hair."
Ojon™ oil instantly hydrates and improves the condition of damaged, color-treated or processed hair without weighing it down. Fortifying, rebuilding and nourishing, it leaves hair extraordinarily shiny, silky and manageable.
The Tawira still harvest and extract the precious oil by hand. All we do is purify the oil and add a small amount of natural anti-oxidants and a touch of fragrance. The Ojon™ Restorative Hair Treatment you buy today is exactly what you would find if you were to visit the Tawira Indians in the rainforest. Each jar of the Ojon™ Restorative Hair Treatment contains 95% of the active ingredient, Ojon™ oil. |

I didn't realize it was 95%. You know when this first came out I heard about it and looked it up. Found that the main ingredient is Palm Nut oil. Then I was thinking I would probably get great results using just palm nut oil.. however I can't find palm nut oil anywhere! Maybe it's palm oil? I'm not sure but I'd like to try it as a hair treatment if I could ever find some of that oil. |

Noticed that they have a Leave-In Gloss Cream, probably go to Nordstrom and purchase it, to see how good it is. Always looking for a great leave in conditioner. |

I have very coarse thick hair and bought the full size treatment along with the shampoo and conditioner. The treatment did nothing for me, actually when I would apply it to my dry unwashed hair (as recomended) I would get some hair loss as I applied. Do find better results with plain old olive oil. As for the shampoo and conditioner, I have repurchased these products, because they do seem to soften and tame my unruly head of hair. |

jilllpa - when using olive oil for hair, do you just put it on for a couple of minutes than rinse it out? i've heard about the olive oil but never tried it. |

qisme615,
Sometimes I saturate my hair and put on a shower cap for 30 minutes to an overnight treatment.
I apply it on my dry unwashed hair, maybe a Tablespoon or 2 depending on the length and condition of your hair, and then massage it into your scalp.
I sometimes also apply to my face. In the shower, I then rinse and wash my hair. My results are silky, shiny, and very smooth locks.
Just recently, I had a meeting at my corporate office and had compliments on my hair, even from men. I get my hair bleached with blonde highlights about every 10 to 12 weeks, and my hair is shoulder length. |

Thank you very much for the directions. I'm going to try it. I have thick, wavy hair which is somewhat dry from years of coloring. |

It is a good BODY moisturizer as well. I took a bath tongight when I rinsed it out and the oil was left in the tub. I have super dry skin and if I don't immediately put Nivia EXTRA ENHANCED on afterwards, my skin literally hurts, its so dry. I did not need a thing afterwards. Its been hours and I'm still soft. But like when you take a bath with oil, you have the "ring" to wash.
PhoebesMeow,it is def Ojon oil. And only comes from Central America from these indians who still harvest it themselves. That is why it is so expensive. This is one thing we'll never be able to "Do it ourselves" |

Is this stuff still strongly fragranced? I liked it on my coarse, thick, straight hair but the scent was too much. |

I agree with Lolli, I tried a sample and liked how it made my hair feel but the scent was very unappealing to me.
Lolli for me I think it was the smell of the Palm nut oil itself that I found unappealing so I don't think that there is anything that they could do to eliminate that. |

Each jar of the Ojon™ Restorative Hair Treatment contains 95% of the active ingredient, "Ojon™ oil." Not with 95% of it Ojon Oil they can't change it. Well, if you don't use it as a leave in, your hair won't smell. To have my hair this soft, I would use it even if I didn't like the smell. |

The ultra is the hydrating one isn't too strongly scented. |

I did not use it as a leave in and could still smell it after I rinsed it out. Maybe I am just really sensitive to the smell of this product! |

seems we've already had lots of threads on this product, its a love it or hate it product. My hairs not thin not super thick and it was horrible on me, the smell lingered after numerous shampoos, and being a migraine suffer, it sucked. I was in headache hell!! but for those that it works on it seems heaven sent. So for those fellow migraine ladies beware, its a strong scent. |
