I have used Paula's Choice BHA lotion before and it really made my skin smooth. I dont notice the same effect with SkinBiology's Exfol. Has my skin changed or is Paula's more effective? |

Hi Monica
I've used both the products you've mentioned there and I do think that although they're both the same strength, I found the Exfol serum to be more milder and less effective. Well it wasnt effective at all in my opinion.

I know, I feel like its not doing anything for me either. I think the only exfoliation Im getting is from using a micro fiber cloth |

Maybe if you've had success with Paula's Choice, you could try her 2% BHA liquid than the lotion.
I was going to get the liquid too, but cos of the high shipping costs, I decided to use other BHA products. However, I've now quit using any BHA's except for the occassional peels. |

Thanks Yeahyeah
Is the liquid like Skinbio's Exfol in etrms of thickness? In other words, is it runny like water or can it be applied cleanly like Exfol? |

Paula's is more effective. There aren't that many effective BHAs that work at the PH level they are supposed to. I always keep a bottle on hand. |

The website can tell you exactly how to apply; normally you would use it on its own since the vitamin c would be overkill at best. The AHA can be used over the bha but again its not necessary since they are both exfoliants. |

I've tried SK Exfol, and personally like both NCN Proskincare's 15% daily exfolidator (which I used on my more sensitive chin area) and I Feel Pretty Products 2%BHA/4%AHA liquid (which I use on my cheeks and nose) much better. I use those after daily gentle use of my microdermabration cloth.
I never did see much results from the Exfol, either. |

I think it's the same effective but the price is quite different. |
