I've asked Neostrata.com for samples, the rep was all into sending me samples until she learned I was in Canada, they referred me the their Canadian distributor who told me that they don't have a makeup line! The email message is on my other computer or I would paste it here but that was the gist. Obviously they do have a makeup line and it is available in Canada. Needless to say, that rep was no help with my request for samples.
With my recent EDS order I requested some samples and didn't get them, the ones I recieved were fabulous though! I'm assuming they don't have any to give.
Sooo, has anyone used this foundation? If so, which shade do you use and how does your skin match up with other foundations so I may have some help picking a shade.
At Neostrata.com they recommend shades based on other brands you might use. I use Revlon Buff mixed with a wee bit of the next yellow/brown shade up, Sand Beige, they recommend Bisque for Buff but nothing for Sand Beige. |

I have the same problem with you. I am still looking for a right shade for me. I've tried "Ivory", which is too pale for me. Can't decide which one to pick, "Neutral Sand", "Warm Beige" or "Neutral Beige". I don't want to waste money on trying this and try that.
I emailed Neostratra for a Canadian distributor. They replied as follows:
CoverBlend is only sold in esthetic salons and unfortunately most salons that carry this brand only have certain shades. If you have an opportunity to travel to Pickering, there is a salon there that carries the full line. The other option is if you know CoverBlend and know the exact shade, then we could sell to you directly.

This is a very good make up product though. It does everything it says. My skin feels smooth, soft, and the best thing is, this stuff has SPF20. |

I have the Ivory and the Bisque and LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FOUNDATION!! I'm going back to buy the concealer too because I'm so happy with the product. I"m NW20 (maybe a bit lighter) and bought the bisque first which is a perfect color match but when i layered the fdt to cover my acne scars it got a bit dark so I went back and bought the Ivory....it is a nice color too and a mix of the two is a absolute perfect match for my skin but it looked a bit grey when i used it to cover my spots...sooooo now I'm looking at buying the concealer (which is what I should have done in the first place). I will say that the color match with the fdt's mixed is perfect so I'm happy I bought both.
Give this stuff a try...its awesome.
Oh...I have VERY acne prone skin and this product has actually improved my skin. It makes my spots heal faster while covering like a dream. My dermatologist sells this in her office too which is why I tried it in the first place. |
