Almond oil is often considered a "carrier oil," FYI (I didn't know this term until a couple months ago), and you can find it at many "natural" DIY skincare sites like Garden of Wisdom (http://www.gardenofwisdom.com/oils.html) and Nature's Gift (http://www.naturesgift.com/aromatherapycar_ord.htm) Other such carrier oils you'll hear a lot about here on EDS include argan, avocado, jojoba, rosehip, etc. All have lots of different uses and treat various ailments (there are lots of threads under the DIY section you might like). Happy DIY! |

MOuntain rose herbs (www.mountainroseherbs.com) is my personal favorite for getting carrier oils of any kind..their products are all organic or wildcrfted..and extraordinarily rich with nutrients and other healing properties..also mrh is extremely ecologically/sustainability oriented..and their products are inexpensive compared to most sites..often half price form the same item offered in a retail natural food store. |
