Goodmorning Everyone,
I have read some post here on Sea Kelp but would really appericiate if you guys could provide suggestion / clarifications / advise.
1. I used less then pea size of sea kelp mix with some water and left it on my face all night.
I wasnt sure if I should follow up with my Restor and Reapir night cream (NCN). Is it okay ?
2. What is the ratio of sea kelp to shampoo ?
Or is it better to use in conditioner again what ratio.
3. Is it Okay to use sea kelp on scalp and leave it overnight and wash in morning.
Thank you |

I can only relay my own experience to your ?#2. And even then, it was based on recs made many moons ago on the Forum re the use of SKB on hair. But it works for my thick hair.
Wash & condition as usual. Squeeze out water from hair after rinsing out conditioner, then using a dime to almost a quarter size dollop of SKB, depending on how thick is your hair, massage it thru your wet hair. Don't be tempted to use more than necessary, you won't like the results.
Continue with your usual hair routine. The SKB contributes shine and bounce to your hair & sure seems to keep mine healthy looking.
With respect to ?1, Nanci of NCN makes a mild exfoliator with SKB in it. I wet my skin beforehand, apply her product, leave it on for 10 -15 min for my rather clog prone skin, then rinse off. It cleans out pores beautifully and leaves skin soft.
Re ?3, why would you want to do this? |

I know it's facetious of me but I'd give you some of mine if I could - have really thick, heavy hair & it's not from using SKB. Just my genetic heritage. But I doubt that SKB helps thicken hair.
From what I've gleaned from some threads on the Forum, you might try researching using oils for your problem, specifically argan I think? not sure.
And I've also heard that Skin Biology sells a treatment called Foligen that helps promote hair growth. If you have dark coloured hair it might be better suited to you than if you're a blond. |

I hope you've seen the Secrets of Beautiful Hair thread on the Forum. Lots of great tips for growing thicker, healthier hair.
Good luck |

i would not recommend adding SKB to conditioner: i tried this and wound up with an utterly bizarre chunky/gelatinous/useless mess. it must react with something in the conditioner--though I've no idea what. instead i add it to water in a spritz bottle and spray it on after i get out of the shower. |
