Other than Skinceuticals C-E-Ferulic which I already have, I'd really appreciate any recs for a great antioxidant. Preferably a combo of ingredients in one product and preferably not a rich cream. Also, if it's your favorite, please let me know how many times you have re-purchased and why. Thanks! |

Not specific to any age group but Dr Baumann recommends the Topix Replenix CF green tea cream. it contains caffeine and a special form of green tea that is supposed to be significantly better than Vitamin C against free radicals. However, it doesnt cause collagen to rebuild as well as vitamin C. So I am sure you can use both. |

I purchased a natural (organic?) antioxidant that I really liked a lot. Mereadesso is the name & the bottle actually says that it's a face & toning gel. It has everything under the sun in it and an interesting story behind it. I didn't repurchase the body version - it is surely very good but for some reason I just wasn't interested (although this is stirring my "purchase" fingers).
This is a fine product that is a light cream in a pump bottle. It has oils, vitamins, aloe, fruit extracts, tea, algae......
www.mereadesso.com
I have repurchased & will again. It isn't cheap but for we Canadian gals - it's based in TORONTO. Boy, we have awesome formulators here too
P.S. I'm 57 |

This sounds interesting...never heard of this company before. I'm wondering if this replaced Vit.C for you & how readily it absorbs. What results have you had? BTW I did a pretend buy and the estimated delivery was in 2 days..talk about instant gratification. I'm used to at least 2 weeks. Glad we have something like this in Canada. |

Ladies - I'm taking notes because I had a feeling there would be product lines I haven't heard of. There are so many anti-ox serums out there it's hard to keep up. Thanks and keep 'em coming! |

RuthMarion, would you be able to post the ingredient listing when you get a chance? I like the key ingredient listing but am wondering about the rest. TIA!
p.s. I am impressed that it says it lasts 4 months |

Okay...... Mereadesso Face & Toning Gel
Aloe Barbadenis Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginana, Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Cyclopentasilixane, Carbmer, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Fucus Vesticulosus (Algae) Extract, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Fruit Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl (Vit E), Retinyl Palmate (Vitamin A), Camellia Sinesis (White Tea) Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Yeast Extract, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract, Arginine, Salicylic Acid, Cola Nitida (Kola Nut) Seed Extract, Ubiquinone (Coq10), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Oil, Panthenol, Chlorophtllin-Copper Complex, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Magnesium PCA, Zinc PCA, Maganese PCA, Lecithin, Carnitine, Allantoin, Steareth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol Steareth-2, Dimrethicine Crosspolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol Urea, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Parfum
I apologize for any spelling errors. There is no way that I could go back & check anything. Once I typed it all out I thought that it didn't seem natural/organic at all - but then again, maybe it is Marina, I still use my various vitamin c's in the morning and I still use my retinol. The Mereadesso absorbs quickly. Maybe because I use the retinol I find that I need a light moisturizer with it - some days yes & some days no. But always on my neck & chest. I also use my Alpha Derma CE most mornings. All of that being said it has still cut down on the # of products that I want to reach for. Also, at 57 I'm realistic in the results that I want to see. My skin is in very good condition & this seems to be keeping it that way. I wondered over our last summer if I could go cold turkey on all of my other stash & use this exclusively. Maybe this coming summer. Scarey. And it's in CANADA & not on the WEST COAST (sorry, I do love BC & you people from out there) so we seem to get it really fast. And it's really good!
If anyone has any questions on an ingredient just ask & I'll check the bottle. |

Maybe someone who knows about chemistry can comment on whether the 2 copper ingredients in Mereadesso would cancel a Vit C active if used at the same time?
That's a really long ingredient list! Thanks for taking the time to post! |

A glass of red wine is a good attitude adjuster as well as anti-oxidant.
While waiting for evening and the red wine, you might try PSF's Berry Beneficial anti-oxidant serum. |
