i have searched all over this forum for a moisturiser with spf 20-30, and have come up with a few but what i really want to know is whether they cause breakouts, cos thats theonly thing im afraid, as during this year my skin has seriuosly gone from near perfect to spotty all over. im trying everything there is and have just bought dermalogica active moist due to the rave reviews on here, but as summer is coming i need a moisturiser with spf 20-30.
im undecided b/t clinique superdefense, avene antiredness soothing cream, oil of olay and dormer 211 spf30. if anyone has tried these products please give a short review as to wether they are suitable for skin prone to breakouts and wont clog pores...thanks very much

I haven't tried any of those, but I do use Neutrogena Dry Touch without any breakouts & it leaves a pretty matte finish, too. I like Anthelios Fluide Extreme a lot - probably better than the Neutrogena. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

I've heard good things about Sofina Nuance (the oil-free one) - so that's one I'll be trying when I run out of what I have here.

I guess I should clarify that my skin really doesn't require much in the way of moisturizers though - especially in the summer.

Hi yeahyeah - Funny you should ask. I've been searching through sunscreen posts on the forum and came across something that may be what you're looking for:

La Roche-Posay Hydraphase UV Intense Rehydration SPF 30. The person who posted it knows quite a bit about SS and said this product claims to be a "light, non-oily formula" suitable for acneic skin. This seems to be marketed as a moisturizer that offers photo-protection, rather than an actual sunscreen. I haven't tried it myself -- I use much higher SPF/PPD sunscreens that tend to be oily. But I thought you may want to add this to your list of possibilities!

Pevonia Hydrating Sunscreen SPF30 is what I use and is very good for your skin. It contains zinc oxide as well as a handful of vitamins. Pevonia has fantastic customer service if you need to ask questions.

Zinc oxide was not listed on any website as an ingredient but it is listed on the box. Score!
