Probably you can try everyday mineral or Alima. For EDM, original formula might be a good choice since you have normal skin. If you need more coverage, semi-matte usually provides a better coverage than original glo.

I also have redness. The more natural coverage that I find with mineral powder is Prescriptives. There is a large choice of color.

I love Pure Anada Mineral makeup. It isn't shiny like Bare Escentuals.

I don't like BareEscentuals because of Bismuth in there.

I love and strongly recommend Miessence (Australian certified organic mineral powder foundation) contains simple ingredients and scented wonderfully with Rose Otto.
Goes on smooth, looks natural and I don't feel i have anything on at all. And I am notorious for those things - I hate it I feel even a little powdery.

Look for a product with few ingredients. The smaller etailer MMU co's make a better product IMO then the mass market brands.
Some brands I like are Lumiere, Meow and Lauress.

Does it give a good coverage? I laso hate the powdery look and at the moment use jane iredale purepressed base, but would like to try something new. BE was to itchy for me.

I use bare mineral a while ago. I don't remember if it has a good coverage. I am now using Chantecaille Future Foundation + Cle de peau Loose Powder. It does give me enough coverage.

Aromaleigh MMU
they have huge selection of colors, no BISMUTH
you can buy samples to check how the colors work as well as coverage. CS is fantastic. Reasonably priced. I love it.
http://www.aromaleigh.com

there are 2 formulas one regular and one geared for mature skin.

Small blurb from site:

Aromaleigh mineral makeup products are special in that we offer a true matte foundation powder without Bismuth oxychloride- in 31 shades and variable coverage. We offer samples of all loose powder mineral cosmetics, including our vast eyeshadow collection- where the matte colors are truly matte with no sparkle and the frosts are not to be frightened of! Aromaleigh mineral cosmetics are all about looking your best with your makeup on and in turn feeling your best.
