Here I am at age 55 and just getting up to speed on skin care and makeup. I've used moisturizers for years and years but last year I went to a spa and got all set up with Decleor products. I used the Decleor Excellence D'L age cream and eye cream for 3 months with no real noticeable improvement over drug store moisturizers. However, I loved the dewy feel it gave my skin and I do need a fairly heavy moisturizer but it is just too pricey for me. Any suggestions on other lines is really appreciated. Also, after foundation and a little pressed powder, it seems that the tiny lines just show up- the powder set in, or something. Thanks for any advice on this as well- |

Yup, that's the problem we all are facing: those tiny lines that look worse with makeup, esp powder. I found that going without powder looks a whole lot better. I just blot with blotting papers (Boscia makes some) if I feel oily. Spraying the foundation with mineral water sets it without resorting to powder. Hope this helps you in some way! |

I agree with Fawnie. Powder makes my fine lines more visible so I just spray avene thermal water to hydrate skin before applying foundation with light downward strokes. This allows me to have coverage and minimizes the foundation getting into the creases. The light mist prevents foundation to "set in" as well. Good luck. |
