Pearl powder is a sort of chinese medicine and one of its effects is for skincare. Lots of women eat it or diy it as mask.
Another famous and expensive cream containing pearl powder is Helena Rubinstein Prodigy Night Tissular. |

I tried Juvena Firming Elixir. It smells good and applies smoothly, but I didn't see much firming result after using it for a month or so - maybe I didn't use it long enough to see the result... |

I think pearl powder is supposed to be very beneficial for skin. It helps with acne, I heard. Here's a list of benefits (googled):
"Pearl powder prevents pigmentation by slowing down the development of melanin which controls the color pigments of the skin.
Pearl powder keeps the skin clear and smooth, leaving it with a sheer, radiant glow.
Pearl powder filters the sun's rays, and Chinese experts claim that pearls can correct the damage done to the skin by the sun.
Pearl powder contains 20-22 amino acids, which are the building blocks of every living organism.
Pearl powder contains a natural moisturizer, proteins which renew the skin cells, vitamin B complex and polysaccharides which strengthen the muscles and the metabolism.
Pearl Powder can also be ingested as a source of calcium."

I hope you get a lot of responses. I'm interested to hear about the other pearl creams. I only tried the I Feel Pretty one, and I did not reorder. It dried out too fast before I was done with half of it. |
