Just a quick question...
I've been trying a lot of new things lately, both topically and internally, and am trying to determine what is causing red dry blotches, bumps (some, but not all, are small pimples) and soreness on my face. My first suspect is Retinol.
I know that many people experience dryness and flakiness, but what about red bumps and "blotches" randomly appearing over the face? Some can be a bit itchy. I think maybe I put on too much. Only used it three times and spread out over days.
At any rate, the main drag is that if my skin can't handle Retinol, I'll probably never advance to Retin A |

That sounds like an allergic reaction. I would stop everything and just use something simple to wash you face. When you start back up on products, I would introduce 1 product at a time - that way you will know what is causing your reaction. |
