I was searching Retin-A Micro on the internet and came across this website that sells it. Has anyone ordered through them and do they require a prescription?

I've never ordered from them but I just clicked on your link and this is what it says:
There is NO requirement to forward a prescription when ordering.
There is NO online consultation required. |

Thanks! I ordered Retin-A recently from AllDayChemist per feedback on this forum. I have been hearing about this Retin-A Micro and thinking of trying it out, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this particular company. |

I have used inhousepharmacy, mystypines. They are really good and their products are definitely legit. I had no problems with them. |

Hi rileygirl, do you use Retin A or Retin A micro. Can you tell me what the difference is and what skin conditions you would use each for. I'm thinking of experimenting with it for anti-aging purposes and I have normal skin. Thanks! |

Retin-A micro is better tolerated for those with normal-dry skin types because its delivery system is less irritating. Thus it is also more expensive to purchase compared to Retin-A.
Quoted from the website of inhousepharmacy,
"While both Retin-A and Retin-A Micro contain the same active ingredient, only Retin-A Micro offers the benefits of tretinoin with the patented microsphere delivery system to provide low levels of irritation. Retin-A Micro is a water-based gel that can be applied immediately after you wash your face, unlike Retin-A, which requires a 20 to 30 minute waiting period. Retin-A Micro also reduces the appearance of facial shine."
Hope this helps. |

Thanks so much mountaingrl, and welcome! Have you ever ordered from inhousepharmacy? I'm wondering what the shipping charges are like. |

Jom, I have only used Retin A and Tazorac, not the Retin A Micro. Sorry! (And, I did not see any difference with the Retin A or the Tazorac on my skin - meaning they both seemed to work the same for me!) |

I've been a lurker to EDS for a long time; thanks for the welcome!
I have not ordered from any online pharmacies before but it looks like their prices include world-wide shipping (to the countries listed) and you only have to pay VAT (taxes) if you are from the UK. It appears that if you are ordering from the UK there might be additional customs charges. Otherwise it seems that the price listed in US dollars is the full price, shipping world-wide included (looks like pretty good prices from what I have glanced at). |

I'm lurking here to see what the experiences are with InHousePharmacy.
I use Retin-A Micro and love it! I have normal/dry/combo skin and this has been the one formula of Retin-A that I could stick with - absolutely no peeling, flaking, redness or purging. I started out with 0.04% and bought it online from CanadaDrugSuperstore.com which did require an Rx & altogether with S&H it was around $60/45g tube - still cheaper than USA pharmacies.
After 3 months now at that strength I'm experimenting with moving up the ladder.....I'm alternating the Micro with Taz 0.1% from ADC (more cost-effective than Micro).
If everyone's experiences with IHP are good I might just order the Micro from them next time. As long as they have Lumigan too!
EDIT: OMG! IHP charges $87USD for a 45g tube of 0.1% Micro including S&H! That's $27USD more than the Canada online site factoring in S&H!!
And $40USD for Lumigan! AllDayChemist sells Lumigan for $12USD/3ml bottle. (S&H from there is a flat $24.90 no matter how much you buy.) |

I knew it was too good to be true! Now I'm rethinking my thoughts about experimenting! |

I just realized that I misunderstood your post! Shipping is free from IHP, I was thinking you were saying shipping was $87!!! Oh well, thank god it's Friday! |
