Hmmm. Yes I had microdermabrasion/peels in the office, and it made my skin smoother and clearer for a while....they recommended "touch-ups" every 6 months, to the tune of $400!!!
I used Epidermx II for a while but found it too harsh for my skin. I exfoliate once a week now with NCNProSkincare microfiber cloth - It's gentle enough to even use on my eyelids and lips.
What I like better than microdermabrasion for "sunspots" is Retin-A and vitamin C serum and sunscreen. |

Yes, I agree with fawnie about the sunspots. I had some near my eye that were resistant to everything and eventually I just stopped worrying about them, but when I started Retin-A they were gone within a month. |

I have not had this done but did do a lot of research on it because I was considering it. Over all results seem to be temporary. I agree you would likely have better results with a RX. |

I've started using Microdermabrasion cloths and they work great! My skin has never been clearer or softer, only down side is that if you rub too hard your face becomes very irritated (something I've learned through experience). Also some cloths my be very expensive! I was able to find one for like $10 at Best Bath Store through Amazon.com. This is the best deal so far. |

It has something to do with ur scrubs..etc especially if afterwards you go out in the sun without a sunblock. |

i've personally never had microdermabrasion done but my bff did and it made her skin super sensitive but i can tell it made a huge difference in her skin. she's done it twice and her skin is flawless. |

I use the Epidermx II daily and have for a few years. I do not work for them but the product changed my life. My mother has rosacea and she is able to use it daily. She has very sensitive skin and didn't think she could. Her skin gets red easy. I think it is very mild, and thought will it do anything, and for me it is a wonder product. I had a microdermabrasion once, and I didn't get the results that I have with the Epidermx II. |

I use the microdermabrasion product from original skin store. It really works well. |

I have them done fairly regularly at a local beauty training college. They do make your skin feel lovely and smooth afterwards, however, for a more dramatic effect (and longer lasting) I would recommend a peel. I use the NCN pumpkin peel and this is lovely, I find this gives me the same results as a microderm. |
