Not many products can make you feel as good as you look! I discovered by accident that this beauty oil can relieve pain in addition to making your skin soft and glowing. After massaging it onto my face, I reached down to rub my knee that was aching after surgery 2 months ago. I was pretty amazed that it quit hurting immediately. Funny, I thought. So I patted a drop onto my shoulder that was hurting after shoveling snow. Same thing! Pain gone right away! Everywhere I put it, same result: almost on contact, the pain is gone.
I don't know what the science is behind it, but it lasts for a couple hours and is so much better than taking pain pills that destroy your kidneys and liver, and it smells better than BenGay! I got it fromwww.NaturesGift.com, the original formulator.

Cleopatra's Secret Anti-Aging Skin Serum
We've been asked for this, and have been experimenting as the ingredients arrived. Based on my beloved Organic Argan oil, with Organic Marula for extra quick absorbency, Squalane for protection against transdermal water loss, anti-oxidant rich Organic Pomegranate CO2, age defying Borage, Evening Primrose and Organic Rose Hip Seed cold pressed oils. Then, to the most age defying carrier blend we could concoct we started adding more goodies. Seabuckthorn Berry CO2 and Rose Hip CO2 extractions, the secret of our popular "Mature Skin Elixir" and, of course, our Cleopatra's Secret synergy, rich with anti-aging Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose essential oils. Carrot Seed, the most effective essential oil for wrinkle reducing. And a dollop more rose, just because.
Measure just a drop or two with the dropper cap. Pat gently onto areas which could use rejuvenating. Absorbs in seconds, leaving skin soft and glowing. (For an even better treat, mist your face with a spritz of our Cleopatra's Secret Toner, and apply the Serum while the skin is still barely moist.)
Please note: We package our Cleopatra's Secret Serum with an attractive silver dropper top, for convenience in use. (It dispenses better with the dropper.) However, for traveling, please cap the bottle with the original bottle top and orifice reducer to prevent the possibility of leakage.

I'm a big fan of most things, Nature's Gift. So, in your opinion, is the dominant scent the Frankincense? Funnily enough I never smelled Frankincense before this serum so I am not sure. |

yes havana, it's frankincense! It doesn't smell bad at all. Sort of herbal-pungent-acrid (like you would expect incense to be) but quite faint. It's also known as boswellia, an ancient resin used as an anti-inflammatory. Hence, the help with arthritis pain I guess. I was so surprised at how quickly it was absorbed into the skin and relieved my pain! |

Hi, a couple of qs -
is this like moroccan oil?
Do you know what % is argan oil, and would it just be better to have just straight argan oil?
(I am a big fan of oils and swear by emu!) |

Hi Juliemarie,
I'm not sure what Moroccan Oil has in it besides argan. Do you use it for flat-ironing?? Cleopatra's Secret has argan listed as the first oil, but it has many many other ingred.
The marula oil in it is so quick to absorb that it nearly disappears on contact. I was using it for flat-ironing my hair, but it doesn't really give it enough slip for that, in truth.
If you email Marge, the formulator @Naturesgift.com she can probably give you a better answer than I have. She is wonderful about answering her mail and is excellent to deal with. I love to give her my business! Thanks for your inquiry! |

Yes! That's it. It does remind me of the mummy exhibit at the museum. It's old and musty. The name is quite apt. It reminds me of Frankenstein. |

I ordered some, and so far I am not impressed - it does not penetrate that well (my skin is not very dry), but 30 minutes later I had still some oily residue. In terms of helping with the skin issues - too early to say.
I have not yet tried to use it for pain, and that is my main hope.
Will update everyone once I try. |

Hi sigma,
I have dry skin and only use a couple drops for my whole face. The marula oil is such a dry oil that it absorbs almost on contact for me...too much so, in fact. I can't use it for massage because it doesn't have enough slip for me. I guess it acts differently because we have different skin types.
When I told Marge at NaturesGift that it works as a pain reliever for me, she was surprised. It doesn't seem to have much basis in science, except that maybe the quick-absorbing marula oil is acting like DMSO for the frankincense to push it into the tissue. Frankincense is the same as boswellia, which is used as an anti-inflammatory.
Then again, maybe it's just me....Strange things do happen to me! |

Sigma, I don't know if you've tried any of the Nature's Gift pain relief blends (Back Ease, Pain Ease or Marge's Miracle Blend) but if the Cleopatra Serum doesn't give you relief, I sent my mom the Marge blend and she said that it worked quite well for her.

Either this stuff is good or I'm cuckoo (this is likely!)...I woke up in the middle of the night with quadriceps cramps from overdoing the swimming and rubbed a little Cleopatra's Secret on.....I felt a warming sensation then the pain was gone all night! |
