I'm wanting something that actively addresses lines/wrinkles esp under eyes and was under the impression that C is one of them, or is it more as a preventative and skin brightener? Should i be using it at all if i'm more concerned with actively trying to smooth lines? (I'm also using Eluage at night)
I don't want to spend $$ on it if it is down on the list of priority!

| both , it prevents collagen breakdown ie prevents wrinkles and oxidative stress )and boost collagen production ( treats wrinkles , but this take much longer than prevention) |

| I think Vitamin C is classified as an active as it builds collagen. However, it also helps to prevent sun damage. The basis of good skin care is Vitamin A, C and E. So use a Vitamin C & E Serum. Vitamin A (Retin-A) is the only clinically proven topical that diminishes fine lines and wrinkles. |

| I look at it as more of a preventive, as I think you would have to use it a very long time to have any kind of results on wrinkles. I agree with Keliu, the only proven thing to date to diminish fine lines/wrinkles is A. |
