Goodness, if you have sensitive skin and are using Clearsil face wash, there are a million things in that face wash that can irritate your skin. So, your first step would be to stop using it. Next in order to figure out what would be good for your skin, could you please tell us a little more about it--- it is oily, dry, acne-prone, etc? |

Well, if your skin won't tolerate mineral make up then I don't have too many more ideas as far as makeup is concerned, so I'll let someone else field that question!^-^
As for the face was for dry skin, there are a lot of options that I think will be less irritating to your skin than the Clearsil wash you were using. My recommendations would be: Beauty Without Cruelty Herbal Cleansing Cream (LOVE this stuff--prevents acne too!), Alba Botanica Sea Lettuce Cleasing Milk, and Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge Face wash. I have VERY sensitive skin, and if I over-medicate, over-stimulate, over-wash, or even look at my skin the wrong way, I will get rashes, dry spots, etc, and these three washes are the only ones I've used that did a good job of calming my skin back down. Hope this helps! |

Hi again! The Beauty Without Cruelty and Alba Botanica products can be found at places like Whole Foods and Wild Oats, or at drugstore.com. The Dermadoctor face wash can be found at dermadoctor.com, sSephora, or beauty.com. Hope this helps! |

As far as makeup is concerned, how about foregoing foundation until you get into a good regimen? Just use a concealor where you need it and a powder. It's weird BE made you break out in bumps. Do you have bad allergies? |

I agree skip liquid foundation, I always think that concealer and powder look just as good anyway.
Yonka cleansers are gentle
What about Cetiphal (sp??) this seems to be a good choice for all skin types, inexpensive and easy to get hold of. |

Oh good I'm not the only one! Mineral makeup drives my skin nuts!
Cetaphil is one of my favorites. It's non-alkaline and gentle, so less likely to freak your skin out than other things. Rosebud turned me onto that pure jojoba oil as a moisturizer too... I'm in love! |

Glominerals (people can use this stuff after plastic surgery), it is minerals (yes) however they are tripple milled and artificial (not natural). Typically sold by dermatologists and plastic surgeons. |

I agree with GloMinerals - I have pretty sensitive skin and it can tolerate it well.
That being said, if you don't know what is causing the problem, I would stop using everything and then slowly reintroduce your products. This way, you'd be able to tell what is causing the bumps and sensitivity. You may want to stay aware from make up so your skin doesn't react while you are doing this.
Also, make sure your makeup brushes are clean. There could be contamination that is causing the allergy/sensitivity.
Good Luck![/quote] |

Hi, Relative to BE, it has bismuth in it which causes that shiny look, however alot if people are sensitive to it and can become red, itchy and may break out, me being one of them. There is a whole world of MMU out there without bismuth, some I know of are: purluxe, cory cosmetics, mineral basics, alina just to name a few. Good luck. |
