I've just started using this system and I have a few questions for anyone that has experience with it.

1. Did the clarifying serum have a yellow tint and odd odor to it when you opened it for the first time?

2. How long did it take you to see results?

3. Did you have any adverse reactions to any of the products?

This may seem like an odd question but if you bought the starter kit, were all the individual products sealed?

Thanks so much for your help!!

Yes the serum was yellow i got freaked out at first as people kepet saying on here it means the vit c has oxidised after buying several of them they all have the yellow colour so dont worry

2. How long did it take you to see results?

i had severe pigmentation and i will say it took me a year with on and off use to get the pigmentation down to a point where im so not paronoid ( i had to stop due to patches of lighter colour a side effect that can happen when using hq for long periods of time on women of colour)

3. Did you have any adverse reactions to any of the products?

Besides from the light patches no and like i said that was after using for a year

This may seem like an odd question but if you bought the starter kit, were all the individual products sealed?

Thanks so much for your help!!

For those using this system, I was wondering how progress is coming along? Also, does the serum leave a sticky or film sort of look on your skin after applying? I was considering using the serum from this line since I always get hyperpigmentation from pimples. Please let us know how it is working out for you.

Thanks!

Other memebers have reported getting rebound hyperpigmentation from this product, so I think I'll look into something else to help with dark spots. Thanks for your input.

That may or may not happen, kdd2411. But, it is more than likely to happen if you go out without a sunscreen on, for any length of time. It will also happen if you stop the HQ completely. Just like with all topical treatments, once you stop using them, you skin will slowly revert back to where it originally was. Not trying to talk you into using HQ, just trying to give you some facts! Very Happy

I definitely encountered the dreaded rebound pigmentation after 2 days of missed sunscreen, and being outside about 5 mins each day.

After seeing that happen so dramatically (along with the continued possible banning in the US), I decided to bail on HQ forever. There are too many other non-HQ options out there.

Yes, it is a big no-no after using HQ and Retin A to not use a sunscreen when going out, no matter how long and/or short one is out!

Yes. The aging rays come through even on cloudy days, so you have to wear sunscreen!!
