Hi,
I new to any kind of skin care. I'm a 28 male and I was interested in controling the oilynes and shine around my face.
I recently bought Orlane Purete Matifying cream from Neimans.
Seems okay...but since I have not used anything else I don't know how to compare.
It goes on fine...not oily...but I don't think it has control the shine through out the day. It does moisterize quite well. Granted, its only been 3 days.
I looked at the ingredients and its well formulated.
Anyone used this before? Any reconmendations for other products |

Okay...day 6. I'm very impressed with the fact that this cream is very moisturizing. I figured that since is for oily skin it would be some what drying.
Also, I breakout for most anything...that's why i'm not into skincare. With exception to Paula's Choice 1% Beta as it helps with my break outs.
Anyhow..read the ingredients(Purete Cream)Its well formulated with coconut oil..a lot of reports claim various benefits from acne to skin softner and its used in a lot in the Indian culture. There is also Silica which helps to absorb excess oil. Although the cream goes on matte it does not really absorbs the oils from my skin. Though for it being a moisturizer it doesn't add extra oil or shine either, so that's a PLUS. There is also Niacinamide, which reports suggest that helps the skin increase ceramide and collegen productions. So I guess this works well if you skin is somewhat oily but not oily as mine.
I plan to keep using it as its rare a product that doesn't break me out. But I would welcome some suggestions in keeping my face from looking like a grease monkey

I have used this cream last summer. It can moisturize my skin, cure my acne, and make me skin more comfortable. The texture is really nice.
My oiliness was also controled, however, I guess that is because my oiliness is due to lack of water. Anyway I am very happy with it and purchased another one from EDS around mother's day this year. |
