Yes,I need your help ladies. I am a 55 year old man who has been pushed back into the dating world after my wife of 25 years left me and my boys with her adulterous lover. My issue is my neck skin is beginning to droop. I am in exceptional shape (workout often) and am often told that I look like I'm 35-40, but... that neck is beginning to betray me. Do you ladies have any suggestions. I have researched many creams (Athena7minute,Amino Genesis, Rejuvinol,Toners, etc.) and oral solutions (Vit. A,C,E,B,Rejuvinol,AHA). And what the heck is dry brushing? Without your help I know I will be financially abused. I'm sorry my first post is so long and thank you so much for any help you all can provide.
Sincerely,
Tom

Hey Tom,
Bummer about the wife. She'll be sorry. Hope you and the kids are doing okay. Life is tough sometimes.

Welcome here. About the neck, many of us are doing facial/neck exercises. There are numerous threads regarding facial exercise on the EDS forum.
Carol Maggio has some great neck exercises on youtube. I would do a google search for specific exercises to help lift and tone the chin and neck region.

I am confident in saying a cream isn't going to do what the exercises will do.

Here's an exercise to try. Lie on the floor, keeping shoulders on the floor. Lift neck up off the floor (no assistance with hands here!) and turn head side to side 35 X (each way - total 70) or work up to it.

Hey, good luck. Oh and I do recommend a C-serum in the morning, retin-a or retinal of some form on most nights and always use sunscreen.... face and neck.

this is the link for another exercise for the neck. I am doing the Ageless if you dare, but I am doing it with this instructions in the mind as well.

The "Ageless" version also recommends to grab the skin on both sides of the throat (just the skin not the throat Laughing ), so it makes more tension for the muscle.

It worked really well for me and other ladies I know. If you like working out the rest of the body, I am sure you will see the great result with a little bit of time.

Hi TMK988, and welcome to the forum! Smile I would also re-iterate neck exercises. Neck exercises are usually part of facial exercise programs. We have several threads dedicated to facial exercises discussions:

Ageless if you Dare - Loulou's Facial Exercises

Also you might want to look into Radio Frequency treatments for skin tightening, such as Accent. They are offered in salons, and you can ask for a complimentary first treatment to see how it works for you. There is also a home RF device Stop, we various outcomes with it from great success to the opposite. Stop thread:

You gals are terrific! I have a terribly aggressive exercise protocol but I will add these exercises you all suggest. My neck muscles are very strong (I'm a 4th DAN BlackBelt and do ground fighting which really strains the neck), will these exercises really tighten up the skin? I'll get the creams Sister Sweets recommends and to Lucy, I can't grow a beard! I feel like a kid sometimes.
Most sincerely,
Tom

You mentioned the dry brushing. It is also good. You use a dry brush to massage the area. Just a regular body brush like WalMart sells in cosmetic department or a fancy like Clarisonic sold on this site.

As far as exercises, try it anyway. It is just a couple of minutes a day (if only for the neck). You might have been exercising different muscles before, not the Platysma in particular.

And you are correct, the topical (like vitamin serums and collagen, elastin creams) should be used as well.

As "inside-out" or internal sort of help, you can take supplements like collagen and Q10 (look in your pharmacy isles).
