Hi, sorry, not a user of the skincare part of cle de peau, but I totally love their cosmetic line. (the new gel liners are beautiful!).

Most cle de peau counters are very generous with samples, I would try that first if you can. I had a few samples of their skincare products , but was not wowed by them, hths. Very Happy

Yes, I also got samples of their La Creme, and , of course, I love the feeling of it, but I don't want to be fooled by this touchy-feely sensation and want to know if there is something more about this line than just "it feels good"

Unfortunately, their site does not list the ingredients... not that I'm good at reading them, but it would be helpful to know what they actually put into $500 cream Wink

What I can compare it is with another high-priced cream - Valmont Glacier. I can say that Cle de Peau La Creme is much better in terms of how your skin feels in the morning after applying the cream in the evining.

Valmont Glacier did not have any effect on my skin at all (even after 2 months of using it Confused ) while La Creme gave me an illusion of rested skin (that is as much as I can say after trying the samples).

Honestly I wouldn't waste so much money on their line because you're just paying for the name. I have never tried any of their products and would recommend that you get samples but still $500 for a creme is a complete waste, similar to creme de la mer for the face. I would try some skincare lines that are proven to give results and are cheaper.

Yes, I agree with on that. Buying high-brand skincare products is money spent on the name, not the product.

But it's different with make-up, I guess. Cle de Peau concealer, primer and lipsticks are the best ones I have ever tried.

I agree with not spending outrageous money on the skincare. It is afterall Shidseido with a different name. However, I have the concealer and agree it's very good.
