Hi there,
I am looking for a thread in which it says which actives should not be used with others; like Vitamin C cannot be applied on the face with Vitamin A (am I correct?).
I have searched this thread for a while including "EDS Library" & FAQ section but in vain.
I'd be grateful if anyone of you can help me out, thx! |

Not sure about the thread, but the only products I am aware of that should not be used at the same time are copper peptides and topical C. They need to be separated by 12 hours. Otherwise, A and C can be used together - it is in a lot of products that way. Hope that helps! |

There is a thread that talks about pH values and order of application (from thin to thick). That might help you a bit.

It probably won't help much, but here are some notes I've made over the time from various threads.
- Retinoids preferably not same night as acids.
- Retin-A: probably no downtime, whereas with Retinol, wait before put on next product (10-30min).
- Vitamin C: 12 hours apart from Copper Peptides.
- GHK-copper peptides: more unstable than CPs; if using acidic product, best to wait 30mins-12 hours between acids and GHK-CPs.
- When applying Vit C, wait about 10 min (let it absorb) before putting on sunscreen or other products.
- sunscreen: some chemical ss (depending on avo/coated avo) may conflict with mineral makeup.
These are only tips I've read here and there, they are not necessarily my personal advice. |

I remember reading somewhere that retinoids and BP cannot be used together-- they negate each other. HTH! |
