Hello all . . . I am new to this forum, and have found it enormously helpful so far! I try to use all-natural products, and have recently switched to the Dr. Hauschka line. Was wondering what other all-natural brands you guys love to use. I love the Hauschka skin care and body care, however I have found the Hauschka hair care (Neem hair lotion and Neem hair oil) makes my oily hair even more oily. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Chimera Smile

Welcome Chimera!

I'm sure that one of the ladies will help you gladly. Carekate is pretty good when it comes to haircare!

i've found that dr hauschka's nasturtium (the green one) shampoo has really helped my sometimes oily hair.

Eminence Organic skincare of Hungary is my fave line. I can't say enough good things about this line. All natural organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Not sure if it is 100% natural,(but I think it may be) but I love, love, love Pureology Haircare products and ABBA hair care products. The Pureology literally saved my hair from years of perm and highligh abuse. It is the healthiest its ever been! Not a cheap line for sure, but I'll never use anything else!

On top of Dr Hauschka, I also use Jurlique (from time to time) and Eminence Organics (mainly their masks).

I am intrigued by the Eminence Organics line you ladies mentioned. Where can I purchase these? I can't seem to find a website. Are they sold only in spas, and can I get samples for a reasonable price? Are they truly all natural with no synthetic ingredients? I would really love to find a nice eye treatment to prevent/get rid of fine wrinkles, and some nice hair treatments for oily hair. Thanks so much for your responses, you guys are the best. Smile

Hi chimera, www.eminenceorganics.com
They are only sold in spas, and they do not sell samples. I love their herbal eye cream; it's one of my fave products that I also use on my lips to prevent lines. Their masks are fab. Wink

Chimera,

There are also two places online that I know of that sell it as well. Beauty Matters (which is a Canadian site) and also Soul Reflexions (which is a US site).

MOP is an organic haircare line. I haven't tried any of their shampoos, but I have a serum, Glisten drops, which I like. I bought the serum fromwww.lookfantastic.com.

Hey Thoughtcrime -

I LOVE Rosa y Fruta - I'm still using it, and its doing great! I recently ordered a new product Elizabeth introduced to help w/ hyperpigmentation - it's a pure rose hip oil. Am keeping my fingers crossed! She also has introduced a cholocate mask, which I may have to try as well.

I've already re-ordered the Ambrosia cream. It makes my skin feel like velvet and my mineral makeup looks great over it.

It's pricey.....but her ingredients are as good as they get!

I'm thinking of trying Chinese Herb Stimulating shampoo by Lamas. I never should have asked for that catalog with my order. Mad

I've been having problems with my hair thinning slightly in certain areas, mostly at the bangs and forehead. My hair is till very thick, except in those areas and I hate it! Confused Just seemed to start about 2 months ago. Catalog says it promotes healthier hair growth; stimulates weak hair and scalp and dissolves follicle blocking oils and debris.

It has no sodium lauryl or (laureth) sulphate, no DEA or TEA, No animal testing or ingredients.

If anyone has tried it, please do tell. wave

Just fyi for those who are interested in eminence products from beautymatters.ca, they are very generous with samples. I ordered from them years ago and they included more than 8 samples of various cream and masks for me.

If you want to try a few things, they have gift boxes for different skin types available.

Here in the Philippines, Mane and Tail is a bestseller. It's originally a shampoo used for horses Shock but I think they reformulated it to fit human hair Smile . I haven't tried it tho. Also, a lot of imitation brands have sprouted because horse shampoo has become so popular. Right now, I'm quite satisfied with Citre Shine and also Pantene Soft and Silky Shampoo. But I'm looking right now for a shampoo that smells great on hair, even at the end of the day.

Try the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo. Not sure if it's availabe in Metro Manila or other big dept. stores like SM or Galleria, but it's nice and smells good too.

I like the Lamas Chinese Herbal Shampoo alot & the Rice Protein Shampoo & Conditioner. Also the dhc Hair Tonic. My hair is fine & thinning somewhat at my temples so I'm very careful with what I use or try. This combo has given my hair a little extra oomph that doesn't come naturally to it!! Oh yes - once a week I use about a teaspoon of baking soda in a large glass of water & pour that on my wet hair just before I shampoo. It gets out all of the accumulated hairspray, etc. And then once in a while I use organic (& only organic) apple cider vinegar after my shampoo is rinsed & before my conditioner. Same ratio as the baking soda.
