Blackhead is my biggest concern for my skin care

especially the blackhead on my nose, looks really like a strawberry

I've used blackhead derived liquid--no working
I've used lavender oil-no work as well as it should be

and now, the blackhead's getting worse

could you help?

starxiao how did you use the lavender oil? Have you tried OCM? It was the one thing that did the unplugging of all the gunk I had in my pores (you can do a search on the DIY board for OCM FAQs and how to's). What enhanced the unplugging was also an almond cleansing cream (or you can buy Dr Hauschka's, it helped a lot of people on here with getting rid of clogged pores and blackheads).

The other thing that helped was aspirin masks with either honey or yogurt.

Nothing I bought, cheap or expensive, cleared my blackheads but these homemade concoctions. I now have minimal, if at all, problem with clogged pores and ZERO problem with blackheads.

Good luck.

Lavender essential oil

first, take a cotton pad,get it wet with the normal lotion and then drop two lavender essential oils on it and apply it on your nose

You might want to try some products containing BHA. It cleanse your black heads by regular use.

The reason an aspirin mask works on blackheads is because it is salicylic acid, i.e. BHA! Once you clear your blackheads you really only need to use it about once a week (or month, as I am doing now!)

Dabbing lavender oil on your pores will not make the blackheads disappear. You need to massage in oil (the lavender needs to be in a carrier oil). Castor oil has unplugging properties but it has to be mixed with other oils such as olive or grapeseed etc or it can be drying) which will dissolve your hardened gunk aka blackheads and remove it from your pores.

I honestly think the only thing that gets rid of blackheads is a blackhead removing tool - it's a little device that has a small metal loop on the end that you place over the blackhead and then press down on the skin. The blackhead then pops out. It's an extremely efficient little device.

After extracting the blackheads, I use a DIY toner made from 100ml Apple Cider Vinegar and 100ml Distilled Water to which I add 4 aspirin. Wipe the area thoroughly with the solution. In fact, you can use this toner after cleansing morning and night.

I'm with Keliu on this. Use a good exfolient, & use the blackhead tool ($10),

wash first, something like Dial (just this one time for disinfection) then with cotton or tissue around finger tips, push gently but firmly until extraction is complete. Wipe with AC toner.

I use deep cleansing mask once a week,it helps a little. Some pore strips(such as biore deep cleansing pore strip) is very useful to remove blackhead, you could actually see how many black and white heads on the strip after you use it! But it will cause larger pores.

You can get rid of your black heads easily by using beta hydroxy acid like Paula's Choice 2% liquid. This works wonderfully for skin. Twice a day for at least 2-3 weeks. Consistency is the key. Nothing else works. Lavender is a skin irritant.

TCA and salicylic acid peels have been my best bets. They're not cure alls, but out of everything I've tried, they have shrunk my pores and cleaned them out the most.

I get mine from Platinum Skincare, but there's a bunch of places that sell them.

Also, Naris Up makes a dual stage pore pack that you peel off. There's a white tube with a clear fluid that you apply, and a blue tube with a thick black goo that you put over it. Put a really thick layer of the black goop on, let it dry, and peel very slowly. It probably won't latch onto the huge ones, but I get a lot of the smaller ones out that way. I can't do a link, but it's on Amazon. Google Naris Up Eggshell and Charcoal mask.

Steaming and then using a pore strip works a little too.

I've never found anything that removes them completely. These are just the best I've come across in my years of searching. For the really large ones, a pore extractor works well, as long as you're careful.
