Ok ladies(and gentlemen), I have used up my Lancome toner(Tonique Control Purifying). I really like it. I'm just wondering if there is something better you can recommend. Or should I just stay with what I liked. I know you all understand the need I have to try new things tia |

I have combination skin w/ oily T zones and am Darphin purifying toner if you don't mind the slight smell of camphor. It apparently has AHA as well. I really don't care very much for La Mer oil absorbing toner - too much alcohol and does sting on application. HTH |

I absolutely love PC final touch toner for normal/oily skin.
www.cosmeticscop.com
They'll send samples.
I have oily, acne prone skin. |

I recently try MB toner call " lotion C" very good for combination/oily skintype. Try to get a sample from their counter, their sales are pretty nice to give out samples. |

I love the darphin purifying toner too...it's just so damn expensive that stuff.
I am currently using the decleor mattifying one and I like it, but it's a little too drying for me at times. If you're greasy go for it, but if you're combination I'd try something else.. |

If you don't mind my asking.... about what do you consider a reasonable price for a good toner? I'm just doing some research here and wonder what most people pay. Just give me a range from low to high. Thanks!

That really does answer my question. The one I'm using is $31.45 so I was wondering if it's in a reasonable price range. Glad it is because it works great as a toner and also as a prep to my argireline products.
Would still like to hear from others about what they consider a reasonable price for toner. Thanks!

I wouldn't pay more than $20 for a benign toner...a little more for one with ingredients like glycolic acid, etc.
That's why I like PC toner. It's amazing, no bad ingredients. Works too. That said, Clarins has a nice toner, and I think it's about $28 CDN. It was nice...big bottle...but I'm heaven with my PC toner. |

judy,
I'll pay up to $40. The Darphin on is $65-75...I was using it but when I went back to school I had to cut my beauty budget a bit... |

Finally found a toner that I liked. It's made from the lady I'm getting my facial done(see previous posts). It's weird, it has EOs in it and at first I freaked. Thinking my skin was not clean, but it soaked right in and left me with glowing skin. I think my problem was I was overstripping skin and it was making up for it. I'll let you all know how it goes. |

How about Dr Hauschka Clarifying Toner then? That one is meant for oily skins. I haven't used it but I use (and like) the regular one and have read good reviews of the Clarifying one. |
