I received Laser Pulse Light Therapy for age spots on my face, some of which are large. I also tried hyperpigmentation cream (from a dermatologist. Neither treatment worked because the spots were not from sun damage but were hormonal.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything that can be done to lessen these annoying facial blemishes?

I had a lot of luck getting rid of my brown spots by using Vitamin C. I use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and swear by it. I also use AHAs and Retin A which have helped as well. But most of my brown spotting was improved with the Vitamin C. |

Thanks you for your reply jom,
I will look up these products with a view to buying. I use Cellex C serums which contain a high amount of vitamin C.
Regards

Retin A will definitely work.Stop buying things from the dermatologists before reading reviews online, most of them just want to make money. Also check the reviews for m2 20% skin refinisher that contains Mandelic acid which a good exfoliator that will peel off the and at lighten them.you will need to use something continuously since its cause is hormonal. |

Hello
I had several largish brown marks. I have been using retin a gel. I wash then leave it for half an hour then use a pea sized blob for my whole face. Once a day at night. Its quite drying and at first the dark marks got darker, but now they have really faded. |

The thing with laser is you take it off but your body is producing these things so they will come back. There s no cure i think,my mom has the same problem, she just uses mineral foundation from EVD minerals to cover them up,that works pretty well. |

Thanks to All for your replies.
Atiyya can you advise on Retin A, which brand name do I look up, also you mentioned m2 20% skin refinisher - what is this name in full? and what is the brand again please. I'm not familiar with these products and have to look online overseas (I'm in New Zealand) and go through brand names.
Many thanks for your replies and help.
