I have many face masks and I cycle them throughout the week but one of favourite (and most affordable) mask is the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. It's difficult to find in Vancouver. I've only ever seen it at a health/nutrition store at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond for $8.99 a bottle. They're $3.99 at Walgreens in the states.
It's a nice mask that clears your pores and blackheads. My face feels and looks cleaner afterward. I definitely recommend it when you need a deep clean once in a while. I used it when I was in Vegas and I think it's the reason why my face didn't go into total breakout mode. |

Yeah, that's the only place where I can find it too. Weird how Walmart doesn't carry it yet... it's such a popular item.
But yeah, it's definitely a great pore cleanser. It literally sucks out all the oil and you can see which parts of the mask has done that because it's usually darker than the rest of the mask. If I don't use this mask at least twice a week, my face gets all grimey and dead-looking |

I love it! and you can add a bit of yogurt and smashed aspirin to it and it becomes a acid peel mask. |

I think you can buy it online somewhere but I don't remember exactly. There was a non-expiring coupon where you could buy 2 for the price of 1 too |

Do you have a Sally's there? I am sure our Sally's has it I even saw it at Cosmoprof, but you need a license there. |

I know Sally's in the US carries it, it's been a staple in the beauty business for decades. The online site should have it if you don't have a local store. |

It's funny. I've had this mask in my drawer forever and I've found it to be very drying on me. I haven't used it since I was in Arizona which has been about 2 years now. After reading this thread I dusted it off and have been using it after the pore-fector gadget and its been nice. I finally have a use for it and it doesn't seem to bother my skin like it used to.
My husband asked me to just shave his head for the summer. Its' been a while since he was bald. Well, he has always had a problem with dandruff. He has to use Selsun or head and shoulders when it gets noticeable. Well, when his head was shaved I saw he had a layer of skin on his head. His hair is so thick he believes the skin can't shed correctly. Well, on impulse I pulled out the Mint julep mask and before he realized what I was doing I covered the affected area and told him to just give it a try (he hates 'makeup'). After 15 mins, O was right. I could see the darker areas on the mask and when I removed it....skin was just balling up and coming off!!! I couldn't believe it. There was a bit of 'ick' factor, but once I had it all removed there was no issue with dandruff at all!!! Its been five days since I cut his hair and he said his head feels great! No flakes!! No itching. Who would have thought a mask on his head would solve a problem he has had for ages!!! He plans on keeping his hair this short for the summer.
BTW: Long for him is 1 to 1 1/2 long. He has always liked short hair, but it is sooooo thick. |

I just realized how important this mask is in my skincare regimen since I used it up. Without it, my skin just looks dull and lifeless. I need to go out and buy it right now |
