Hey everyone!
I just had a quick question. My skin is peeling with Retin A and was wondering how much moisturizer I should use. I recently read on another forum that someone said using too much moisturizer is bad, and that using a light one would be good, since the flakes of dead skin will come off better..?
I do not want to mix moisturizer with my Retin A. I just want to know what I should use the morning after a night of Retin A.
I put on Retin A every other day, and then on my off nights I put on clindoxyl. So when I wake up in the morning, I use a gentle cleanser, but then I'm stuck on what moisturizer I should use...heavy duty, or light? |

Lucky you, I don't remember the day without moisturiser, but you must put some sunscreen in the morning. Specially because you are using Retin A.
Tell me about this oiling after Retin A - it still works for you or works much slower? |

You can use a moisturizer or oil after retin-a at night. You just need to wait I think 30-60 minutes after applying retin-a.
I wouldnt worry so much about what type of moisturizer to use, just use what ever feels right for your skin. If you have alot of peeling, I'd probably with a cream vs a lotion. |

When my skin gets dry I also do this - wait about an hour, and then use a moistuerizer over the retin A. Just pick a gentle one without acids and you should be ok. The retin A is still effective. |

I often apply avocado oil right after I apply retin a, but that's not the right way. I keep forgetting to wash my face and apply retin a to allow enough time before bed to apply oil later. By the time I wash my face and apply retin a, I would be too sleepy to care. However I think it'd be so much better if I leave 30-60 minutes before I apply the oil. |
