I've been reading a lot of posts about the benefits of Coconut oil and Jojoba oil for the hair. I've also seen a few post recommending Shea Butter for the hands. I'd like to pick some up but am not quite sure what I'm looking for. I've checked out GardenofWisdom but they don't have very good item descriptions so I'm a little confused. Can someone suggest some specific items or maybe even a site that has some good descriptions?
Thanks!! |

Hey TC, welcome to EDS! Garden of Wisdom is lovely but she doesn't offer organics. One of my favorite places to stock up on organic EOs and carrier oils iswww.mountainroseherbs.com. They also carry bulk teas, herbs and offers great descriptions. I can spend hours just browsing around there
Hope this helps,

Lots of great information at Mountain Rose Herbs. I requested one of their catalogs, can't wait to get it.
I also went back to Garden of Wisdom. There must have been something wrong with the site earlier because there are lots more descriptions there now than when I was there this morning. I can't find Coconut oil on their site, only Coconut Cream. Is it the same thing?
Thanks |

I checked out the GOW and that's an odd description. I wouldn't think that anything called coconut cream wouldn't really be the same as pure, unrefined coconut oil but it's hard to tell by looking at the description. I'd send Markey and email and ask her before ordering. |

I ended up email her, asking if the coconut cream was the same thing as coconut oil. This was her reply, hopefully she won't mind my posting it here.
"Not at all. Coconut Oil has be filtered and refined and has no odor. The Coconut Cream we sell is a liquid during the summer and a solid cream during the winter. It is heavenly. From the meat of the coconut, pure coconut smell, cold pressed and unrefined.
Coconut oil is typically used for soap making and not in high quality skin care products." |

Garden of Wisdom stocks a very extensive range of oils at a very affordable prices. Coconut oil really helps to nurture the skin and should give you the results your after. |
