Hi
When I first started with Vit C, my right cheek had little red bumps too.
Your skin is probably a little sensitive to the Vit C. Do be patient - it does take some getting used to and the benefits that come later are well worth the patience.
I suggest
a) try alternate days or every 2 days till your skin get used to it
b) add some B5 gel to dilute Vit C
c) get a lower strength Vit C

hi jenny, m i think my skin needs sometime to get used to the vit c serum too... that's why i only put a very very little amount on my forehead and put some mosisture serum after that...
how long do you think it takes my skin to get used to the vit c? i have started with serum 10.. the lowest on in SC range... |

Hi Caesar salad
It depends on individuals as to how long it takes to get use to the serum.
I did not wait. I ordered Cellex C's Vit C for sensitive skin (7.5% strength) - which posted no problems for me. I used the stronger one for my neck and chest. After the initial bottle 7.5% strength, I went on to SC 10 with no problems.

hi skinprofusion, my skin is exactly as you said.. little red bumps on my forehead.. dunno why it is just my forehead which does not clear up
other parts of my face is better than before after i have used the serum 10.. i am not sure if i should continue using the serum 10.. however as you said.. it may be clearing up the stuff beneath the skin .. that's why there are the tiny bumps... i guess i will give it one more week to see what will happen.. hope the serum 10 is clearing whatever the dirt is underneath my skin |

I think the bumps that Skinprofusion experiences might have been caused by the AHA bringing stuff to the surface rather than the vit C. I would say that, Ceasar Salad, it looks like your forehead might be a tad sensitive to it. Perhaps use it every second day or drop to a lower concentration while continuing to use the 10% on the rest of your face? just a though... |
