I'm thinking of replicating Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. I was wondering if anyone can help me out? I see some ingredients that I'm familiar with. Maybe I'll try mixing those and putting in into a cream base?
(Ingredients: water (aqua purificata) purified, polysaccharides/glycoprotein, methyl gluceth-20, peg-75, butylene glycol, dimethicone copolyol, octyl methoxycinnamate, pantethine, sodium hyaluronate, kola (cola acuminata) extract, hydrogenated lecithin, glycereth-26, matricaria (anthemis nobilis), retinyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate, bisabolol, oleth-3, oleth-5, squalane, oleth-3 phosphate, choleth-24, cetheth-25, xanthan gum, allatoin, tea-carbomer, trisodium edta, bht, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, butylparaben, yellow no. 5 (CI 19140), red no. 4 (CI 14700), green no. 5 (CI 61570)).
My cream:
SAS base cream
lecithin
green tea extract
allatoin
anti oxidant booster
maybe will add MAP
Any one have any other advise? |

HI funkydory - You might go to the skinactives website and check - they often have "recipes" for the expensive products - even if you don't purchase from them - you can see what products to use. DiPhx |

Ohhh snap! That would be amazing, it is sooo expensive. I have bought it way too many times. It's not fiscally responsible I tell ya. For some weird reason I have a feeling it has retinol in it. I also thought it had a helluva lot of Vitamin C.
If it doesn't I'm going to feel leotarded!
It has some weird technology, I know that. They're always claiming that it's super special with the scientific testing they did to get the product. I guess I'm a huge sucker because I never thought I could make a good copy.
I'll help you anyway I can! |

Hmmz, I dont see any vit c ingredients. Unless its called another name from what we are familiar with.
I read somewhere that they do have some 'special' ingredients. But I can't remember the names of it.
I think they are
cetheth-25
oleth-3
oleth-3
I wonder if we can get some substitutes for those |

funkydory what is your opinion of this product. It would obviously be a good one but what do you feel it has done for your skin, as there mixed reviews all over the web. The ingredient list dosent look super impressive but it has obviously worked for you... Results? |
