What are the best derm/ chem or pharma texts/ bks to explain the basics about skincare and the active ingredients and how they work?
It would be great to check out a good book/s that would give a good grounding/ working knowledge for the person who hasn't trained in the industry. Written for a layperson would be great but not dumbed down/ missing any vital information. If you need to go straight to the hardcore texts - please list them too. |

I would like to know this information as well. Also, a book on how to mix your own organic or whatever skincare products! |

I have purchased a few of these (expensive!) on Amazon.
The ones I have purchased relate more to dermatology issues in skin aging.
If I were you, I would search through Amazon using keywords such as "dermatology handbook" and similar words.
Good luck, BF |
