I have been using Jane Iredale pure pressed base for almost 4 years. Tried bareminerals once in the store and didn't like the coverage and my face became very itchy. the new baremierals matt is supposed to be improved. did anyone try it yet? or is there anything better out there that one can reccommend ? |

I alternate between a few, my favorites are Lumiere, Lauress and Meow.
Personally BE never worked for me. I didnt care for the finish and that it contains bismuth.
I've read mixed reviews on the new matte version. Its suppose to be bismuth free but I'd like to know exactly what 'soil minerals' contains.
I think MMU is really individual. |

BE is my favourite mineral makeup. It goes on nice (a little goes a long way) and stays on for the day. It doesn't even look like I am wearing makeup. |

As far as I remember, BE was too shiny. JI is also shiny but I think less than BE.
Sometimes I use Jurlique rose powder on Tzone and it does a very good job. |

I recently tried the mineral foundation from Almay. It seem to be quite alright with my skin. And i have combination skin. It was recommended by the girl at the pharmacy because she said she's tried several brands, and it this particular brand really agreed with her without aggravating much. |

I LOVE Glo Minerals loose powder, and it's my favorite out of many. Jane Iredale is my second favorite - it's really a great brand. |

What coverage are you looking for? I've tried ALOT.
Right now I like buffd. It has medium-heavy coverage and colour matches perfectly. matte finish. For a glowy finish, I like joppa morning dew.
I also like cory because it has the best coverage but the colour doesnt match. She has new shades which I've yet to try. Her samples are cheap. |

kpka,
Have you ever used a liquid minerals foundation? I have never been able to use a powder minerals foundation and I tried a lot of them before coming to that conclusion. They just didn't work on my combo skin. But I'm now using the Liquid Firming Minerals Foundation from ncnskincare.com which has to be my all time favorite foundation. I apply it with my finger - it goes on effortlessly and pretty much blocks my shine for most of the day. It stays put for the entire day even on my nose which has always been a problem for me. |

Jane Iredale liquid minerals, very light, doesn't feel like you have any makeup on |

I don't like liquid foundations, I think they clog my pores
I am looking for a light to medium coverage, but I like the feeling of no make up on the face, and natural look. Also I have combination skin and prefer something that does NOT give me extra shine.
So many choices, thank you ladies!
Looks like there are many raves about Lumiere, meow, lauress, glominerals. If only I could tri all at once. this is what happens every time I run of JI, I start looking and give up |

I like, and now use, Physicians Formula mineral makeup. It is drug store, affordable, and the Talc-Free line works great. I do not get the cakey, pasty, dryness from this line like it did from other mineral makeup lines. |

Personally I like Jane Iredale more than bareminerals. The latter just don't work for me, the coverage is like nothing. |
