What do you use when you can't take the tightness, flaking and just not being able to move your lips or eyes for fear your face might crack? Today is one of those days for me, I have the action cream, could I put this on for the full night, What else works without slowing down the progess I made already? Help! |

You can try Aquaphor around your lip area. That will help with the cracking there. You also can use an eye cream, which will help around your eye area. My best advice is to "tough it out" and get through this phase. The slower you take Obagi, the longer it takes. If you miss Retin A for more than 2 nights, it will prolong the peeling/flaking. Try to use a gentle exfoliator like a microfiber cloth or an enzyme product for the flakes. The best thing is to get in the shower, put your face in the water, and gently rub your skin with your hands, which will remove a lot of the dead skin.
You could try the Action if you really just can't stand it. Good luck! |

I am going slower in this process, i take one day, and night off a week, i woke up this morning, very dry, and peeling, my face felt so dry, so i used a warm wash cloth on it, then put some oil on it, as i had my coffee, and got on line, i do this , and it helps, then take a shower, and wash face. |

You should not be using any oils with Nu Derm. It defeats the purpose of Obagi's goal, which is getting your skin to a healthy state where it does not need moisturizers. |
