About a week ago I noticed one little redish bump on my stomach. I thought maybe it was just a clogged pore or pimple though and waited to see if it would go away. Today though I was showering and looked down and noticed my stomach is now covered in these little bumps. On my stomach and chest. They weren't there yesterday. Mostly on the right side of my mid stomach are most of them. I haven't done anything different in my product usage or anything. The only thing I did different was yesterday I used a sugar scrub in the shower to scrub my whole body. That couldn't be it though right? It's no where else on my body. Just that region. And it does look kind of similair to kerotosis I guess but you couldn't just get an outbreak of that overnight right? They don't itch or anything, I didn't even know they were there until I was looking at my stomach in the shower. I'm freaked out though cause they are ugly, I don't know what they are, what caused them and what to do about them. Anyone know?

Errgh i get the same type of thing every few months, on each of my hip bones! A bunch of little red bumps, it's so strange. I do think that it happens after I use my sugar scrubs though, but I have no idea why. I think there are probably tons of things tht could cause them, it takes about a week for mine to go away. Hang in there Sad

Really? You get it right after a sugar scrub? So maybe that is it. Strange. I never thought body scrubs could cause reactions. They are not really inflamed, just light pinkish/flesh colored tiny bumps. Maybe they are irritated hair folicals or pores that got clogged from the scrub? Freaky. I think I will stick to chemical exfoliation if that is the case. I feel better knowing that it's happened to someone else though and went away quickly. I'll wait and see if they go away on their own, I hope!

Yes, my bath and bodyworks sugar scrub that I should probably just not use.. I was using it on that area because I was uneducated about skin scare, and I thought I would be able to scrub away my old stretchmarks Rolling Eyes Are yours itchy at all? Mine were kind of itchy the night before they formed, then I woke up and saw them Shock I'm kind of tempted to experiment with the scrub right now and see if I get any bumps... Hope your are healed!

sounds like a rash. Try putting tea tree oil or aloe vera lotion on it

No, no itch at all. At night they felt a little warm and strange but not itchy. I hope they don't start to. I wonder if they are the same thing though or really caused by the scrub. Why would scrubs cause that? Do scrubs clog pores or hair folicals? I wonder if this is an allergic reaction to something else or from the scrub. I looked online and couldn't find anything that matched the description and apperance of them. Confused They look like tiny penhead size pimples/whiteheads. Kind of like bumps you can get on your forehead, pinkish at the base with like a shiny rounded flesh colored dome on the ends. I just started breaking out on my face too around my chin and temples. Even though my face was getting totally clear for a while. I've never had body acne though. I just used straight brown sugar and mixed some of it with some liquid soap and some with just water, maybe it was too harsh. I didn't use it with oil this time.

I got them once a while too. But they do itch for me. I don't do anything and they just go away by themselves.

Probably not a bad idea to see a dermatologist if they don't go away soon BYRG, you wouldn't want them to spread!
