I just had a vi peel for the second time.
The first time the esthetician cleaned my face with acetone, then made three passes with the peel solution, and once carefully over my eye area.
Today a different esthetician cleaned my face, and then made one pass with the chemical solution and said she was done. I was surprised and told her the first one had gone over my face a few times and over the eye area. I asked if she was really done, and she said yes, that they only go over the face one time. Since it only happened today, I don't know what kind of results I'll have with one pass...
Have I been cheated?

Was this at the same salon, spa? If so I would speak to the manager or owner. If not I would stick with the one you were happy with and make an appointment to see only her.

Both were at the same spa... but different estheticians. Last year (when I got my first vi peel) the spa was fast paced and thriving. Today the esthetician was the only one in the entire office. I was in and out in 10 minutes.
I'm actually very unhappy and hope others who've gotten vi's will let me know their experience. |

I'm sorry I haven't had one done but used to work as a cosmetologist and the service as well as the proper procedure should be the same. I would call and express my displeasure to the owner or manager.
