Hello Ladies!
Over the Easter weekend, my sister-in-law gave me a pouch w/ handle that contained 8 (full-size) Arbonne products. She said to try them for 1 week and let her know? She said she also gave a kit to her friend and my mother. Of course, I was pulling out of the driveyway when she handed it to me through the window, but wondered why she gave these to me and why did she want me to try them? And, she didn't ask for money? Is this something that people sell door to door like Avon? Honestly, I have been using SkinCeuticals for 5 years (c serum, etc.) and I am also on Retin-A now, so I don't want to add anything else into the mix. Do you think she is selling this stuff?
If anyone has any information on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It is not sold in stores, but you can get it on Ebay for good prices if you like it. I used to use a shampoo and conditioner that is no longer sold.
Arbonne has reps that sell the product - house parties, craft shows, health and beauty fairs, etc. You can "buy in" for something like $30 and then get the products for a discounted rate. It's kind of a racket in a way.
Personally I think you're better sticking with what you're doing. Check out the reviews on here and go from there. |

Hi Mist
If you already have the kit you should try .That is the way they try to sell it because you can relly see a difference using Nutrimin C in one weel .I am buing it from ebey with resonable price and I am very happy with it |

I actually became a "consultant" so I could get the biggest discount... Honestly, I love the products. It kind of cracks me up. 'Cause, I just didn't expect to like anything. I'm not into the whole "party" thing... but I love a good product.
You will often get a full size "sample" of a product, or a packet of testers... and people give them away... because it's rare that a person doesn't fall in love.
You should give a try... if nothing to just give her an opinion...
Take care! |

I think all of their products are vegan and cruelty-free! Great! The one thing that bugs me is that you cannot access any ingredients online... you have to meet with a consultant for that. |

What do you love about these products, Claudia? What have they done for your skin, and which of these products do you use? |

Hi Riley...
Well... one of the reasons I like the product is that I prefer to buy from companies with a conscience. No scary chemicals, cruelty free, considers the environment... etc... A nice perk that it's made in the US...
My skin just looks really clear, I've noticed that the one area that was a problem (blackheads around the nose...) has cleared out almost completely... I use a tweezerman stick to extract... no pressure needed... I've been using my eye cream all over as it has kojic acid, and I'll be dang, my brown spots are fading... I had one really prom. right between the brows... it was soooooo pretty (NOT) and I have to turn my head this way and that to even see it... so not totally gone yet. I think I can safely say my skin is "normal" now... not oily or dry... There are some very effective ingredients in these products... and they are layered...so, that seems to make the diff. (??)
Ok... so I don't want to sound like a commercial... here are the products I use at the moment... I fill in with Arbonne when I use something else up in my arsenal...
RE9 (a Vit. C line with lots of other goodies) - toner, eye cream, gelee transforming Life, Illuminating Enzyme Peel
I still love my NCN - Rhassoul Bar, Pumpkin Mask, and Seaweed mask. I would have a hard time parting with them just to stay in the RE9 line... So, I'll give them a try when I'm out of my goods... they will have to be amazing to take the place of my NCN.
I bought my DH the RE9 men's face wash (granular)... he really likes it.. I sneak it in the shower, (don't tell him) - Its a great quick scrub.
Make up - Primer (like silk), Liquid foundation (good coverage, not heavy), Virtual Illusiaon Mascara (2 steps, mascara is a little clumpy, then nicely smoothed with the step 2 gel. Without gel I wouldn't like it...), and Lash Enhancer (no reports yet), Prep and plump lip gloss (you can feel that sting... I don't use reg. enough to report fuller lips... I like the color and gloss...not too sticky)
Weightloss stuff - The Pom Fizzy Tabs - my water intake has improved substantially. I don't use as directed.
FC5 Line - Shower Wash, Body Lotion, Hand lotion. (Ok... my skin actually feels freakishly silky.) I do everything else the same, I've been using a body brush in the shower for over 15 years. But I was sitting around, and reached back to rub my lower back, and my skin actually felt different. Will def. reorder. I have a girlfriend using the FC5 face wash... and she's flipping out. The smell, the texture, and then her face is feeling/looking more refreshed...
Detox Line - I've tried the 7 day detox, Did not go well... in that I couldn't gag it down. Now, it has a bit of a seaweed and like taste... or swamp water... I'm not sure. So if a person could eat sushi, (the seaweed wrap that is) then it might not be of issue... but I can't report on how good it is... Plenty of people drink it... and like it ????
Hope that wasn't too much of an add..
I have a list of other items I'm lusting for... but one must go a little at a time... I guess... LOL! |

Wow, thanks for the great review, Claudia. They sound like good products. You can't post ingredients for the RE9 can you? If you can't post them, would you PM me the ingredients? I am using 302 products right now, but I am definitely keeping a list of things to try if 302 does not work out! |

You Know... I don't think I'm supposed to... and don't want to risk my discount by doing so...
I can download them into a PDF... which I don't think I can attach to a PM (correct me if I'm wrong...)
If you PM me your e-mail address...
I'll send you a load of PDF's...
Do you want ingredients for the entire face line? Or something inparticular... |

A very similar story happened to me with my sister-in-law. I'm just so happy with what I am using that I don't really want to mess with it, ya know? I tried the C-line and it seemed to be a really good quality but what can you really learn from a week? |

I had gotten some Arbonne almost a year ago, I think, and I wasn't really using the line (NutriMin-C) regularly. Then, one day, I was at my friend's cabin for the weekend, and I used hers. Shock! My skin was looking really tired, and after I used the products, my skin looked amazing. That convinced me, even though I am still not really perfectly loyal. I do think it is weird that you can't find the ingredients online, but if you are a preferred member (which I became after my epiphany) or consultant, you can download the pdfs, like Claudia said, and I found it to contain a lot of the ingredients that are "hot" nowadays - actives - like A and C, Matrixyl (Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3), jojoba, copper, elhibin, etc. Arbonne is not, as far as I understand, certified organic, but they do use high quality ingredients and a lot of botanicals. They try to use organic ingredients, unless it conflicts with the whole vegan thing. I have been really cynical about Arbonne, but so far they have pleasantly surprised me. Which I am conflicted about, because I love trying new things, but it seems that I have found something that actually works! |

I'm the same way... I LOVE trying things... it might almost be heartbreaking to find a favorite. Which is what I did with shampoo. Every time I get the urge to just try something else... well it just doesn't compare! Funny huh?
Yes, their ingredients are really spectacular. Which is actually pretty cool... seeing that this line has been out for quite a while... and well, now, people have only been talking hot and heavy about them in the last 6 months or so? They definitely seem to stay leading edge. |

Claudia - lets say that I am not so happy about this revealed secret - one year ago I was able to get it on ebay with 100$ ..now no more deals
But I have to agree that is one of the best things out there .
the thing that really made it no so hot and people suspicious about it is the way they are commercializing the products.
Which Shampoo do You use ?
thanks:) |

Well.. it's that whole avon, marykay thing. I personally don't dig the parties... Although I'll go to one... I just don't like doing them. But, yeah, I became a consultant 'cause I don't like retail pricing.
I use Loma Products. http://www.lomaforhair.com/
They have AWESOME ingredients...I use the Pearatin. Hydrating cream shampoo (do NOT expect a lather!), Daily Hydrating Conditioner, and Fortifying repairative serum. Oh and Spray Hair Shine. And I also occasionally use Perspective (it's kind of lighter shampoo)
The only other product I use, is the Morracon Oil. Which I tried, 'cause the girl at the beauty supply store said... If you love loma... you're gonna love Morracon Oil. Which I do like. I rotate between serums... 'cause I just want them both... Morracon oil smells divine. I actually Don't use it if I plan on wearing perfume. Loma is a little lighter.
Oh... and I've used their Moisturizing Facial treatment. (which I've dumped actives into... not really a "must have" but it's nice.)
A little about my hair... LOTS of hair. My pony tail is about 1" thick. I'm prematurely gray (thank GOD for color), and I get the course, white hair... not that pretty silky silver hair! So, my hair is color treated... with another product I LOVE! I do it myself, and have it corrected every now and then. Salons use too chemically stuff... that always burns me... and I don't consider myself very sensitive to products. AND I have a high pain thresh hold. Go figure! I haven't had a perm since the early 90's. I tend to let it grow for a long time, then get it cut. So, I'm not always in the salon... and I haven't had split ends since probably a really bad perm back in the 80's! Let's not talk about that
So much for a short answer! |

I've never tried Loma hair care products. I've been using Arbonne's FC5 shampoo and conditioner and I LOVE the way it makes my hair feel.
My hair looks smoother and feels silkier since I started using it a few weeks ago. I also love that it has no harsh chemicals to strip my color treated hair.
I too became an Arbonne consultant to save big on the products, which I love.
So far, it's really paid off because I've been getting so many compliments on my completion and hair, that I've been able to sell it to my friends. Now I make a little spending money as a bonus. |

OMG Claudia, I guarantee that you'd love it. When I switched to the FC5 shampoo and conditioner, my 9 yr old daughter, kept commenting about how soft her hair felt. This may not sound significant, but she's kind of a tomboy, and I never even told her we were using anything different.
My youngest daughter, who is 5, has autism so I have to be very careful about the products I use on her hair and skin. I love that Arbonne has no harsh chemicals that can be absorbed into her bloodstream. Her immune system is already compromised enough because of her disorder. |

Lagunaniguelmom, that is a great idea! My 4-year-old nephew has autism, as well, and I never thought to use the shampoo or body wash with him.
We have been using the Trader Joe's shampoo, but I will give this a try. He and his sister both love to take baths! |
