Which is better to use in DIY recipes - extracts or oils? |

I have another question dealing with oils. If an oil smells "oily", for lack of a better word, does that mean it's no longer good? I just bought some kiwi oil and cranberry seed oil and they sort of smell. |

I could be wrong (hopefully Kassy will see this) but each would have a different purpose in a DIY formula; I don't think it is an either or.
I have no clue about the smelly oils... |

Thanks, Alley. I had noticed that Kassy uses some extracts. I've also seen extracts as ingredients in skincare products which led me to wonder if they're preferred over the oils, if you can find them. |
