Does anyone know if I could add zinc oxide powder to a moisturizer recipe that has already been made up? If so, how many teaspoons should be added to 12 ounces of moisturizer for a 20 or 30 SPF? Thank you in advance for any advise given. |

It's best to weigh your zinc with a formulating scale to get the right amount of zinc. Measurement with teaspoons is not always accurate.
Also, take care not to breathe the zinc oxide powder as you mix it in.
Instead of a food processor, you can use a stick blender which works better for small amounts. |
