I've searched the dermarolling forum and did not see this. And nobody seems to answer questions on that incredibly long thread anymore...
Does anyone use cod liver oil post-roll? I know it sounds gross but I didn't have any vitamin A anything (I posted asking what people meant by Vitamin A cream, but no reply...) so I thought I'd try cod liver oil. I have retin A, but I read that's not good after rolling. The oil smells, and it's from a capsule so it has some soybean oil, too, but hey, is there any reason not to use it?
Has anyone else used this? Results? good, bad, nothing?
This was my first roll,so I'm a little worried I'll get some creepy cod liver infection...
Replies would be lovely! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

herama
I have never used cod liver oil after a roll, I am also abit new at this, but after having done 3 1mm rolls,I have found my skin very sensitive after.
I use the infaldolin cream(Owndoc website) after it is vit A but an acetate which is less irritating, it also has vit e in it but very greasy like aquaphor.
I also use emu oil, the next day,and sometimes if I can tolerate I put on SuperGHK cream.
Oh I have also started using the AALS on the 2nd day to help with the swelling and redness.
I last rolled on sat very agressively
as I used Emla cream for the first time and I dont think I realised quite how hard I was on my face
I now look like a swollen red lizard
Although after having read that long thread too I think that is how others have done too, I just hope that is

Thanks for the reply! What is AALS?
I didn't want to get the enfodalan (sp?) because it's petroleum based, which would likely break me out.
I'm not sure how much more aggressively I could have rolled. My forehead looks normal today - sadly no temporary improvements due to inflammation. But I do have track marks on my chest. Yuck. I didn't use any numbing anything. I tried ice for about 10 seconds on my arm first, but grew impatient and figured not worth the time. Nothing on chest or forehead.
I suspect the roller I have is not the sharpest available- I got the cheap-o type off EBay. However, it did draw blood and I heard the infamous popping side while doing my forehead. Nothing on arm or chest.
From what I see, the cod liver oil hasn't caused any adverse effects, so that's good! |

Did you continue to use CLO Herama, or anyone else? |
