I saw this when we were shopping for a moisturizer for my bf (he refuses to pay much money lotion). He considered it, but then didn't want to have to use 2 different ones everyday since I got him wearing ss now. I did see about the niacinimide and HA too. Wondered if it was actually good. Guess we can wait for reviews?! Can check makeupalley too, but I trust ppl on this site more.
BTW, I pronounced it Sare-Ahve and he pronounced it Sara-Vee. Which is it?! |

Somebody on makeupalley forum emailed the company about the concentration of niacinamide. They declined to disclose it as it is proprietary information in their company but they did mention that the concentration is in line with published studies on the efficacy of niacinamide. So I am presuming it should be at least 4%. |

I'm not surprised they didn't disclose the %.
I too was guessing it would be around 4%. |

I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I love it. My skin is generally dry with occasional tiny pimples. This winter it got uber dry and flaky. I had been using Cerave for the body in the past few years and probably will again in the summer. But it wasn't helping this past December.
Tried this and I love it. Skin is hydrated and glowy again. I'm getting back into Retin-A (discontinued because my skin was so flaky in November or so) and I've read on MUA that this helps...we'll see. |

I picked up but am not sure that I like it. I think I like the original lotion better.
This new one seems to have a higher silicone % then the original at least for me (based on the feel and how my skin reacted). |

This formula strikes me as a bit odd because behentrimonium methosulfate and cetearyl alcohol are usually found in hair conditioners. I'm not a chemist, though, so this isn't necessarily a negative. |
