| I was so excited to try this cleanser, pH 5.0 and it foamed. Well the foam foams in your hand and dissappears very quickly when rubbing it on my face. I didn't feel like my face got very clean becasue the product dissappeared so quickly. I guess I'm back on my search for a good pH cleanser. Oh yeah and the expiration is 3 months. |

perhaps you can return it. a 3 month expiry date is good ground too. just tell them the product doesn't work.
i believe Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, and Sephora have this policy. |

I bought this some time back. Tend to agree with oranges' comments on this one. Have tried a few sophyto products, liked some (esp the polyphenol skin drops), but can't see me buying this cleanser again.
On the polyphenol skin drops... am I the only one to notice that since they put it in the new packaging, which appears to be a 30ml pump-top container, it's considerably more expensive (in terms of price/ml) than the original small twist-top tubes? I believe the original packaging wasn't popular with some, but I actually liked those little tubes, as they were convenient for travel. Now, if I want to re-purchase, I have to pay more to get the same product in a container that I don't like....blah!!! |

Oranges,
The Deep Pore Foaming Cleanser is absorbed too quickly when the skin is dehydrated. To continue massaging, just moisten your fingertips with either Super Bioactive or purified water.
This cleanser will not remove make-up thus,the Ultra Mild Silken Cleanser should be used instead.
The products have a 3 year unboxed shelf-life. Regarding their after-opening period, we suggest 3 months because we want our customers to enjoy the naturally high bioactivity which can decrease over time once opened.That doesn´t mean, however, that the products will not provide results if used after a 3 month opening period.

The Polyphenol Skin Drops ampoules were discontinued because most of our customers thought they generated too much waste. The new airless pump dispenser provides better preservation of the bioactivity of the formulas. A 30ml container will last approx. 6 months.

I agree with Ishtar there.
If I don't wear makeup, then the foam stays foamy for longer. When I wear my mineral foundation, the mineral powder kills the foam!
Silken cleanser is preferred to remove make up and watch it come off on the cotton pads. Except that it smells of alcohol and tingles my skin. |

| Thanks for the response. I don't wear makeup but I've been having better luck by using 3 to 4 pumps. I will use it up but I don't know if I will repurchase. |

Although we use low alcohol concentrations (just 1%),the alcohol smell predominates in the Ultra Mild Silken Cleanser because we do not add any fragances to the formula.
This cleanser also contains cucumber extract which has astringent properties. Cucumber along with the mildly acidic pH of the formula are responsible for the tingling sensation.
As long as the tingling is temporary, there is nothing to be concerned about.

| As you describe, I would like this product and Caudalie Grape Cleansing Foam has a very similar, both are more applicable to the morning. |
