Does anyone here take before and after photos of their progress while using a certain product? I've thought about this quite a lot. I'm always worried that the after is not going to be good. LOL... But I think it's a good way to see if a product is really working of not.
So if I were to take pictures do you it would be best to take the pictures in natural sunlight or indoor lighting? |

I do for everything new I try. When I used 302, I took a monthly picture, outdoors, same time and location to try to get accurate comparisons. I think the natural light is better, but any place you choose to take before and afters, I would try to match everything as close as possible - distance, lighting, etc. I think it is great to do and really "proves" in my mind if something is working, or not! |

Thank you for the tips! I just need to find my camera.

The LightStim instructions stated to take pictures indoors with the blinds/curtains closed, in the same spot in the room, with the same interior lighting each time.
The idea is that this is the only way the lighting can be controlled/the exact same each time. FWIW. |

I think at least one month is suitable. |

I take pictures every week, whether I'm using a new product or not. Everytime my mirror tells me I look good, the camera tells me whether my mirror is lying. I like to take whole face shots and them trim them out to make up-close comparisons of the areas I'm particularly working on. That's really helpful over time, so you can (hopefully) see a progression. I take them in the morning at the same time in the exact same spot - near some windows - so the lighting and position is the same. |

I'm impressed Skippie. I really wish I had done this over the last few years with all the changes I've made. It would've been great to evaluate the results of facial exercise particularly. |

One additional thing that I wished I had done, Sis, is to label the pictures with whatever product(s) I'm using at the time. Sometimes when I go back to prior pictures, I notice my skin looked better then than it does currently and I won't remember what I was using at the time. I think that would be really helpful if you're like me and try out a lot of products. |
