Clarisonic Mia - What is the speed of the unit?

My original Clarisonic MD unit is acting up. After 3 years of use, the battery has lost steam. You can only use it once that day and wait the next.

So now that I'm back in the market looking for a Clarisonic model, I notice the Mia addition.

As I can see there is only one button for this unit, what speed is it when compared to the regular Clarisonic model?

I use my Clarisonic for the face only and never really changed speed or setting. So I'm thinking purchasing another expensive Clarisonic may be too much. If I just get the Mia, I may not like the speed setting and obviously there is no way to change it.

I had the full sized, returned it and bought the Mia from EDS about 8 months later, so it was hard to compare the speed per say. I just don't rememeber exactly. But the Mia does everything and more, but I can carry it with me when I travel with more ease.
The speed seems to be a regular or normal speed (that is what they told me at Sephora when I first checked it out), but don't know exactly what that is. I found I used only one speed on the full-size anyway so I don't miss it.

Is the timer on the classic important to you? The Mia goes for 1 minute with no 30 second beep.

That's an important consideration. I've been going by the 30 sec-30-sec-15sec-15sec timer so I know how long I've been in a section and when to switch.

Thanks for this info as well.

I didn't use the timer anyway. When the minute is up, I restart it and use it where I need to.
I don't miss the bells and whistles for the ease and size.
I pack it with me when I travel and I love that part!

Well, that's why I bought the Mia. I thought the full-size was too expensive for the results I got for it. The Mia was just right!

Hi,

Ebay has numerous Clarisonic models for sale at great prices. I purchased the classic model for $89. It was slightly used, but works great. Also, you can find great prices on the replacement brushes on Ebay.
